Hey guys and gals...my FWW who is really confused and I think we are in about half recovery has used Prozac for going on 5 years now....along with Ativan, for anxiety. She takes 60mg of the Prozac daily, with a script for .5 MG Ativan twice daily as needed. Anyone know of others that have been using these products together? Thanks.

I use it for a few months at a time, and then Doc tapers it off till I need it again...

I take Xanax for anxiety, there aren't really any bad interactions other than the Prozac could enhance the effects of the Ativan.....

Welderboy.....nothing wrong with that combination as long as it works. Five years is a pretty good while for Prozac but not unheard of; a little counseling may help. Ativan is fine for short term or prn use.
