My husband and I aren't much for either but we do like wine coolers. Is there a champagne or wine that is close to that?

Arbor Mist makes some different fruit-type wines that seem like they would be able to pass for wine coolers. The peach is good.

Baby Duck would be something to look for.
You could also make yourselves Sangria...
You use take a half litre of red wine...a quarter litre of 7 up or gingerale and a quarter litre of orange juice. Mix it up...drop in some ice and assorted sliced fruit. Oh and a drop of Peach schnapps too if you have it on hand.
