Hi, everyone,
It's been a while since I've posted my ups and downs. Someone posted in a past thread of mine that if you pray for strength, God gives you more to need strength for. I've been praying for peace and gentleness ever since (I do not need more to make me stronger).
Things have been going well. My SO has vowed he has recommitted to US. We are taking things slowly and he's living at his mom's house. We've only gotten together 3 times in almost 3 weeks (boy, this time flew by). Each time is considerably better and we share and communicate very well.
The last 2 times we've kissed and gotten heated up, but I have had the strength to resist and go home. It's not that I don't want to be with him, I really want to, it's just that I fear he only wants the sex. I need to know he's sincere and genuine and wants to be with me for eternity.
I'm proud of how I've handled this current break up. I'm letting him feel what he has caused.
God Bless you all.

------------------
Carpe Diem
~~ Lady K ~~

Lady K,
Glad things are going well for you. You deserve it.
I am like you. I decides that I was strong enough right now. I am praying that God give me grace and peace and the wisdom to 'listen' to Him as He speaks to me.
I pray everyday that He will lead my husband back home it that is His will, but in the mean time, I pray that He help me with me!
God Bless,
Cheryl

Cheryl - I, too, pray for God's will and for the peace within myself to accept whatever he has in store for me. I pray that my SO come to terms within himself and find a peace that will allow him to accept all that I have to offer him.
Sheba - I am keeping myself very busy with the kids school and soccer. I'm taking time for myself and I've found a peace to accept and be thankful for each new day.
Like I mentioned before, we aren't spending a lot of time in each other company, but we do talk on the phone quite a bit. It's getting easier not seeing him and that kind of makes me nervous - maybe we're just weening each other off us and eventually we'll fade away.
I guess time will tell.
------------------
Carpe Diem
~~ Lady K ~~
