I am so depressed. I have to go back to work tomorrow after being on maternity leave for the last 12 weeks. It breaks my heart to have to take my baby to daycare. How can they possibly take care of her the way I do? I really shouldn't complain, the day care center is in my office building so I can go see her throughout the day. Still it is going to be so hard to not be with her all day tomorrow. I can't stop hugging and kissing her today.

I don't have anything comforting to say, just a cyber-hug to offer.
How is MC going? Have you had appointment #2 yet?

Hope you get through the day without too much anxiety Kloe!
I remember when I went back to work and had to leave Paige. It was almost physically painful. I was lucky and my mom was alive back then. She watched her for the first four years while I worked.
You are very, very lucky too that you have daycare at your employment. That is great!
It'll hurt to be apart from her for a long time. It was months for me, and once I went out with my friends when she was a few months old and I couldn't stand it. Ended up back at home in a couple of hours.

Hi {{{kloe}}},
I can understand how hard it is to go back to work and leave your baby in another's care.I am sure all new Mom's feel this way. But,the bright side I think is that the daycare is in your building and you can see your baby at anytime during the day you are able. That is great. You have not left her at some place that is miles from work and can only see her when you pick her up after work is done.In that respect, you are fortunate.
Even though I am sure the daycare providers will do their best,no one can take care of your child like you right! Just make sure they have all the necessary baby "acoutremont" to make her feel comfy and secure.
Let us know how it goes tomorrow.

I dropped her off this morning and almost cried. She seemed fine. I stopped back in and she was sitting in a bouncy seat staring at another kid. I'm going back and gettting her for an hour at lunch. It's so hard being back at work and away from her, although everyone at the office has been great. Hopefully it will get easier with time.
