Yep. Yes2rday was my birthday, but now it's somebody else's! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

And thanks for all the well-wishes from Baja Oklahoma! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Sanded that bathroom floor, stained and put 2 coats of polyurethane on it 2day.

I may not be a marriagebuilder, but I can fix up a bathroom like nobodies business!

I just heard about the green flash sunset, so I know I'll be on the beach every night this summer watching for it. I'm on Lake Superior and that's a lake, so it's possible.

I have a sanding question 2long. I am having someone come over to sand my floors, but thought maybe I could do the stairs myself, since I will be putting a runner down anyway.

Have you sanded stairs? Is there a little sander used specifically for stairs?

Problem with stairs is getting in the corners and against the risers. Probably need one of those little detail sanders for that, but something like a random orbit sander for the open areas (otherwise it'll take forever).

I had one I got a few years ago, and I hated it - noisy and pretty ineffective. I hope they've improved since then. There sure are a lot out there.

I never answered you, and I'm sorry:

"Haven't heard from you lately, don't know what that means."

It means I'm in a funk. It means I watched "Jerry McGuire" with my W last night and we didn't talk about ANY of the heaviosity R messages throughout.

It means I need someone like K 2 help me out here. After learning of cerri's latest news recently, I've lost a lot of faith in the sensibility of even trying 2 recover, when I can't even get my W 2 agree on what our fu2re should be like after all that's happened, and for so damned long.

Things are okay. She just gave me a kiss as she left 2 pick up our fu2re SIL's parents at the airport (I have plumbing fix2res 2 plumb while they're gone). But I've been making renewed efforts 2 re-establish intimacy - ANY ol' kind of intimacy, and I get no response or signals 2 guide me.

Am I wasting my time? Sometimes I think so. Sometimes I don't.

I don't think she's had contact with RM in several months, based on something she did recently that made it possible 2 see recent contact if it was ongoing. But she's going 2 a meeting in a few weeks that RM has historically attended. She's planning on sharing a room with a female friend, though, so maybe I don't have much 2 worry about.

But hey. It's been over 3 years since D-day, and I haven't got any firm, "guy necessary" clues that she even WANTS our marriage.

Well, back 2 the plumbing tasks...
