I'm doing a small study on my own and I can't find a particular passage, I can't even remember what book it's in except I think it's in the New Testement.
It talks about how there are people out there who prey on others. It's likened to a wolf I believe but I did a search in biblegateway.com and couldn't come up with anything. I remember something about this is just how these people are, immoral and they won't change. Any ideas where this passage is or what it really says?
Thanks! Carol

There are many passages similar to this. Can you be more specific on what it said, or what the passage was talking about ie. what it was in conjunction with?

I wish I can remember. It has something about how there are people out there who are out to serve themselves, prey on others, etc. They will always be adulterers or something like that.
I did searches on Adultery, immoral, prey, wolves and I couldn't come up with anything. Any other suggestions for searches?

I am with MM.
Not enough clues. Sounds like Acts, Hebrews, or Revelation if it is indeed NT. Give us a bit more.

Only thing wolfy I can find is

quote:
John 10:11-13 (New International Version)
11“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 13The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.

But the context is not right.

See, I'm thinking it's in Revelations. I am going through a search on Immorality to see what I can come up with. So far I am in the book of Jude but I have a bit more to go through.
I Corithians & Ephesians goes pretty deep on sexual sin but it's not what I am looking for. I'll know it when I see it.
Oh well, if you think of any more let me know.

Hi chackler -
How about 2 Timothy 3? It talks about the last days, when "people will love themselves, love money...will not love others...gossip...not control themselves..." and will "...go into homes and get control of silly women who are full of sin and are led by many evil desires." (My Bible version is Max Lucado's Inspirational Bible.)
God bless,
Rose

Are you thinking of "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." Matt. 7:15
