It has been one year since my WH moved out. I thought my life was over and I just wanted to die, but I'm still here a year later.

Everyone comments, how strong I am and how proud they are of me. I don't feel very strong but I have survive a year without him. The pain is still with me but I don't cry as much, but there isn't a day that goes by without thinking about him and wondering how he is doing. I wonder if I ever cross his mind. This year we would have celebrated our fifteenth wedding anniversary by renewing our vows, now we don't even have marriage.

In three weeks, it will be one year since I last saw him. Ran into shopping with the OW. Four weeks later it will be the last time his parents saw him. He ran away with the OW.

When he left he promised me he would stay in the area and wouldn't not make any major decision without talking to me first. He broke those promises.

Last year I felt so alone, and six weeks later I found MB. I realized I wasn't alone and the words coming out of WH was coming out of many other WS's mouths. I learned how to expose to the A to friends and family members without bitterness but to tell them I was doing this to save my marriage.

I didn't know my WH moved thousands of miles away with the OW until I received Nevada divorce papers. They ran like cowards.

I haven't talked to him since mid-December, I do have questions especially since he has some of financial records from the beginning of last year, I really don't want to talk to him but sometimes I do. I'm torn.

One thing that still troubles me is that I knew he loved me and that love was once strong, so how could he have just walked out like I was a one week girlfriend that didn't mean anything to him. How could you walk out and never looked back? Maybe I will never know the answer to that question.

Just like a drug addict, the WS can completely turn their back on their family, and lose everything. It is astounding to me. My WH has been gone 2 years, and now I don't think about him at all. You will get there too.

So true. My wife was so loving and caring and all of a sudden, nothing mattered and away she went.
