Anyone ever checked out the Gloryb boards???

Caren, it's not a good place to mention round here.

Seriously, every time someone brings up that board, things can turn very nasty here very quickly with retaliations and board wars.

I'm the FWW and I wouldn't go near that place with a 50ft pole.

"curiosity killed the cat" became a well-known saying for a reason....

Now that you brought it up, the curious ones will go over there. Not a good thing. But it's a free country - free internet - people can do what they want. But it's not a good site for Marriage Building. Nothing good has ever come from someone visiting over there.

Thanks Caren. I have been wanting to find that for a while now and did not know how. It is so tabu here that I was afraid to ask.

Yep! I Went in and I had to look. That it is just me. I had to. Not a place for the weak. I have a thicker skin now since my WH A. It is a free country so it does not surprises me that they have their own board.

Nothing that surprised me from what I could see but thanks for sharing.

Love

*sigh*

If only we could invent a computer virus for that site........ c-r-a-s-h

Caren,

Many MB folks have been there before. In order to see how the Morlocks survive,it is interesting(in a morbid, sick and gross kind of way) to seasoned MB'ers, definitely not newbies.Once is enough, sometimes way more than enough.

Some of us have checked out that 'OP' (other place) and found many OWs (other wackos). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

Not all but many. They have a right to their so called 'freedom of speech' also. So better they have a board to fantasize in than come here and bombard this board (which some have attempted t/d in the past). The funny thing is like the A, those fly-by attacks on MB don't last.

LOL!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> Those kind of places reeks of the A stench. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> Some OWs even like to smell their WS' morning breathe and other loose air particles. Really. May be posting as such recently but there are OWs who 'secretly' like such stinky smells and even let it slip out in their attempt to show how much they care for the WS'. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

All in all, it isn't a safe place for a BS t/b. C/b devastating for a BS' recovery. For some it did cause a setback.

L.

The FOS does not give you the "right to be heard."

I think I know what you meant though. Better to have them in their own cesspool than here. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

I was only there for a sec, I didn't really read much, and what I did read was drivel...stuff like "Did he tell you he was married before you started dating?"

I just wondered if anyone else had braved that site.

We don't have to go to 'gloryb' or 'TOW' (THE OTHER WOMAN) to hear the OW whining about missing the MM.

Just go to Cardsonly thread: "HELP! WITHDRAWING FROM PAINFUL ONLINE AFFAIR"

The OW's are complaining about the withdrawal from their married OM after he dumped them to stay with his wife.

It makes me sick; hardly any remorse whatsoever!
SELFISH SELFISH SELFISH is all I see!

Where are the experienced MB members on that thread to give them some 2 X 4's and a reality check?

I would, but I just get too angry since my XW was in that same #@%&^ @#%&% (blankety blank) fog thinking the OM was the next thing to GOD!

I actually know a VERY remorseful OW(not my WH's, I'd like to MAKE her remorseful in a couple different ways, but most of 'em are illegal LMAO).

She's one of my friends, and she was seeing a married man, who gave her the song and dance about how horrible his wife was, how he never loved her, how he was going to leave her...etc.

I told her "He's lying to you" She of course didn't believe me...this went on for months, the whole time I was telling her things from the standpoint of the BS.......I think some of it was getting through, but not much of it. *Until* the BW called her, confirmed her husband did indeed still live at home, that he had been lying to her saying "No baby, I'm not seeing anyone"....well after that phone call my friend broke it off with MM.

Since then she has been SEVERLY depressed, to the point where she considered suicide, and has quit her job (Where they both worked). I believe her depression is a combination of withdrawl and the immense guilt she feels for doing this to this poor BW.

So, they're not all horrible people, they are normal people making HORRIBLE decisions.

-Caren

P.S.-Not endorsing TOW board AT ALL....just wanted to tell you that maybe 90% of them are deplorable human beings and the other 10% are just snowed by the MM.
