Personally nothing on MB bothers me.....I think people come here to get advice and to vent. None of us knows what really goes on in someone's life. I come here to bounce ideas off of all of you and get help and advice. It's very hard going through all of this as you all know.
I have plenty of pet peeves in the real world with stupid people but not here. I try to understand what each and every one of you are going through....people are different...you can't expect everyone to handle things the same.

i HATE IT - Dern caps locks key again!!

OK, starting over,

I hate it when I have to log in again for no apparent reason - I mean I didn't log out! Why do I have to log back in? Especially when I just wrote the best post ever!! It's gone!! (Of course, this has saved my [censored] from being embarassed countless times.)

Also, I kinda hate it that I cannot update my sig line to stop lying about my age - some time ago the software was changed so you couldn't put over X number of characters in your sig line. When I was trying to update my age - HONEST!!! - I was rudely informed that I HAD TOO MANY CHARACTERS - dern caps lock key again!!! (I wasn't shouting.) Thus, I've been 49 now for going on three years.

Other than that, I will not whine about anything else - except SKM doesn't post any more. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

WAT:

I hate it that the siglines can't be long enough for whole song lyrics (or Mortarman's entire his2ry! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> ).

But the loggin in over again? That's a PC thang, as I have one PC at home that does that, 2. NONE of my Mac's, using Safari as a web browser, EVER does that 2 me (unless I log out on purpose).

That's the platform 2 use!... ...well, nevermind.

I guess I have a pet peeve about people having issues with SF. [Roll Eyes]

So what are you saying mimi? That I'm your pet peeve?

I have no problem with SF, but it is the problem I have with Plan A. Having SF with a spouse who is having SF with another. I don't think it is good for a woman. That is how I feel about it.

You feel differently and that is fine with me, but I thought this thread was about our own personal pet peeves and that is mine, however it is with the plan and not with the posters. That would be their personal choice which I would support if they chose it.

O,

A yooper is one of the chosen few who live in the upper penninsula of Michigan. The penninsula between Lake Michigan and Lake Superior, joined to lower Michigan by the great Mackinac Bridge.

In other words, it's where the cool people live! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Ark is a yooper wanna be, just like Mel. I am the real thing. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Ah heck O,

I can't josh ya.

A yooper is really someone who lives in hell. An alcoholic, bar infested playground for the unlucky few who are trapped here, like me. We have the highest alcoholic rate per capita in the U.S., and we have the least amount of sunshine.

It is also a snowmobile and fisherman's paradise. Lots and lots of wooded wilderness surrounded by the Great Lakes. It snows 8 months of the year, and rains the rest.

And I'll be out of here the minute my DD enters college.

Weave,

Do you really live up there near Mackinac Island??!

I have always, always wanted to go and stay at The Grand Hotel ever since I saw the movie,"Somewhere in Time" with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour.I know it's a sappy movie but I loved it and I always wanted to go with my then non-WH.

So you have a lot of alcoholics up there? Too bad.I would have thought it'd be a very pretty spot with just regular folks. One of those "nice places to visit but wouldn't want to live there" type areas huh? Oh well.

The Hotel is my kind of place: water and coastline, swimming, horseback riding,no cars, hardly any technology, big front porch and lots of peaceful quietude.sigh...it sounds wonderful just talking about it.

I may take my girlies there one day,who knows. They would probably be bored out of their minds though! lol

My pet Peeve, the glorification of the U.P. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

Across the bridge is for fisherman and lumberjacks, who are all chain smokers and big time drinkers, you can shoot pool in bars for a dime, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> but you can only listen to 8 tracks, records, tapes and CD's haven't made it up that far yet, I'm not even sure they have chocolate. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

The only thing to do in the UP, is fish or drink, but most of them, do both. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

All of us in the Lower, (cool portion) of MI refer to the U.P. as BFE!!!!!!!!!

Sadly, my H desires to live up there more than any place else in the world. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

I love you Weaver. ((yooper))

Most of the good peeves have been posted, so I'll just name one (in > 3 words <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" /> )

Actively WS or OP who come here asking for support in NC and then make a gazillion reasons why they have to have contact "one more time" "for closure". Because "this is different, we're really friends" and "y'all don't understand."

Where's my barfing emoticon?

Oh, can I add a pep peeve about myself and the way I relate to MB? Sure, it's an open forum!

It bugs me that I don't seem to have the fortitude to hang out here and contribute without it affecting me so strongly (and negatively) that I need to go on hiatus for a while, and at the same time I won't just drop the forum and move on to something else. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

And 2long's 2's, of COURSE.
That's more like my cat gurgling when he purrs, though. It's irritating and fascinating at the same time, and although it bugs me I'd miss it if it stopped.

Hmm. I must be having an ambivalent day <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

KY,

I wondered when you were going to come out of hiding.

Don't forget to tell them that us yoopers refer to you "lower" folks as trolls and fudgies.

Pep's going to kill us for TJ'g like this.

Edited to say I love you too KY (fudgie)

Don't let the negativism get to me anymore though, and I now ignore threads that seem even remotely controversial. My feelings seem to get hurt on those threads.

Okay, a real one,
I'm with Turtle on this one, a WS still fogged and not thinking rational, trying to justify reasons why they need to make contact for closure, or justify a friendship after an A.

Or just anybody in general, BS, WS, who just doesn't get it.

Proud to be a Fudgie,
KY

P.S.
Yes, your glorification brought me out of hiding, how pathetic is that???

I'm sure someone has posted my pet peeve. But just in case it is the following.
