my husband is a wonderful man, but lately, he defines lazy. he refuses to move out of his chair to even go to work half the time. i have tried everything, but nothing works. when i try to talk to him about it, he gets mad at me and goes to sleep or completely ignores me.i am so sick of crying. i dont know what to do anymore. he has already refused counseling, and wont listen to me. how am i supposed to get it through his head that i cant work full time, keep the house clean, and take care of the babies all the time?

Hi Ai !

I am sorry you are so frustrated at your husbands behaviour.

I have no experience of such behaviour, but I can imagine how very frustrating it must be.

The weekends are slow around here, as most MBers are having family times, but I feel sure that one of teh 'lifers' with more experience than I will off er guidance when they read your post.

Has your H always been lazy ? Also is he lazy in his employment, or just at home?

I thought my wife had found this site until I read the part about refusing to go to counseling .

I recently moved in with a friend that has a spare bedroom. I resemble most of your comments. Not untill I moved and was forced to help with dishes/cleaning/laudndry did I realize how much work it is. When and if I move back with my family I will make an honest attempt to help much more than I did.

Other than those words I haven't much to add. If you can't show him this post, maybe sit down with the laundry in front of his chair and ask if he would help you fold.

Personally, If my wife told me she would wear a sexy outfit after the kids went to bed and let me have my way with her if I helped, I would have been a cleaning fool. But thats just me <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
