The given here is that I need to ask him what I can do to spoil him...I have and I will - but...
I would like to surprise him with some new ideas.
So men....what defines pampering to you?
Women....what do you do to pamper your husband?

My honey likes it when I give him a bath!
I draw the water, put in bubbles, light the candles, and I wash him!
but, we're weird!

I do exactly what Pep described!! Bubbles, candles, etc. And yes...I wash him too. HE really really loves the pampering. *I think*

I find what most impresses my husband is when I do something specifically for him. Tonight I baked him an apple pie. I won't eat apple pie and I don't like to cook so he knows it was just for him. I give him massages, manicures and pedicures. Sometimes I iron his work shirts although he usually does this for himself. It is the little things that makes him feel special. Also I think my husband is most impressed when I brag about him to my friends and when I make it a point to tell him how much I appreciate him. [ March 15, 2005, 09:09 PM: Message edited by: longtimemarried ]

Warm massage oil and give him a foot massage...my husband loves having his feet rubbed.
Actually, there are many ways to spoil a man...like mine anyways, because he is like a little boy and likes to have "treats".
OK...I think I'm going now, I am getting myself worked up and want to spoil my husband too, even though I am mad at him...still love him, he's hot. Have fun.

When were still together I bought him black silk pajama bottoms with a matching robe, shorts and a thong
He kind of looked like a bad [censored] version of hugh hefner when he wore them. And the robe and pants were so soft that one couldn't help but rub his arms and stuff all night.
Sometimes he would just wear the thong and dance around singing along with a CD. He was such a ham that it was as much fun for him as it was for me. Mostly we would both just laugh our heads off when he wore that thong.
Ah well, just a thought for after that bubble bath.

Anything intimate that needs effort. Squid bakd me an onion tart a couple of weeks ago. She hates baking and hates onion tarts, but she loves me and spent ages making that for me.
What I'd truly love is a spontaneous letter of appreciation presented nicely.
I'd love to know explicitly that I am appreciated.
BTW , I don't need to mention seduction do I ?

Thanks everyone for such good ideas!
What's fun about doing something new is the "surprise" factor. I know he would like everyone of the ideas you mentioned.
Bob, I'm going to try and think of something he especially likes to eat and make it for him. He's vegeterian, but loves sweets!
The foot massage sounds great too; I gave them to my son after football practices last year - I bet my husband would like them too!
Weaver the outfit you described sounds like what he would like for ME to wear!! [ March 18, 2005, 02:40 PM: Message edited by: CSue ]

There are 2 things that make my DH happy as a lark: when I go on a motorcycle trip with him and when I sleep nekkid. MEN!

ML's post reminded me. My H loves our morning routine.
I get up early, put on coffee, do my exercises, shower. Then I bring him coffee in bed nekkid and smelling good.

Hmmm My W washes me too...She soaps me down then rinses me off with the hose...in the driveway...I like it but the neighbors don't.
OK "for reals"...she fixes something for me to eat. It can be as simple as a grilled cheese sandwich or Thanksgiving dinner. She has me put my head on her lap(face up )
She doesn't wake me when I snore
Brings me a cold one when I am working in the yard...let's see that was back in '01.

Here goes my WH has always been the most spoiled H I ever knew. I get up every am with him early and make his coffee. Pour him a cup and hand it to him. I wear sexy undies and bras - and Falsh him. He loves it. Sometimes when he comes home I have a nice dinner ready with a glass of wine in a chilled wine glass waiting. I wear stockings with garters and sexy outfits. Sometimes we even eat first. I plan days off for sex days. I even rented sexy movies. With a very red face. I rub his back - wake him up at night to tell him I want his sexy body. Tell him how hot he makes me. Dress up real nice when we go out and tell him what I'm wearing under my jeans and what is waiting for him at home. Always make myself look good everyday. Buy him loving cards. Buy him the cheese and crackers and keep them in the house for him at night for a snack if he wants it. Yeah - I always have done this - so why did he goe elsewhere. He was always told he married an angel. Oh well - I still do these things just look better now.

Whew, you guys this is getting so good I almost can't type!!
ML - I prefer to sleep with something on, and my husband would rather I not - so that's an easy treat for me to give him!
Unfortunately his Triumph motorcycle is out of commission for now - maybe I should encourage him to get it fixed!
Turtlehead & Hiker - Your ideas sound doable too, and he would appreciate them.
Realtor!!! Sounds like what you do would work real well for my husband! You're having fun too I can tell! [ March 19, 2005, 12:21 PM: Message edited by: CSue ]

CSue:
OT:
I'm reminded of a High School assembly over 30 years ago, where the presenter claimed that *everything* had an example in the Bible that could be cited.
A student asked: "What about motorcycles?"
Without missing a beat, the presenter opened his Bible and quoted: "And Joshua's Triumph was heard throughout the land."
...but I've looked, and I couldn't find the verse...
END OT. I re2rn control of this thread 2 you!
