Our anniversary is in two weeks, and it's been far from the perfect year (see my post under The Early Years), but I still want to celebrate our first year in a memorable way, and I want to set the tone for the next year and following anniversaries. We're a little strapped for cash, but I'm just looking for ideas to show my husband how much I do love him. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

How about a picnic in the park? Or by the lake? A romantic stroll on the beach? Not sure where you live but maybe you get the idea.
Write him a letter. Tell him how you feel about him and this past year. Tell him you hopes and dreams from the future.

Tomorrow is our 32yr wedding anniversary We have been in recovery for about 8 months.
Today is a 2yr. anniversary I would not wish on anyone...D-Day ...However this is how I truely feel..
Got a card....says..."To My Husband"...(open and it simply says)... "In my Heart of Hearts...You are My Love of Loves Happy Anniversary..."
Simple...honest...true
I also got him a favorite CD
Tough morning today...we acknowledged it in a loving manner...and it's over...no brooding..no heart ache.
OW..has stolen enough from me and my family...I'm truely at peace and refuse to give it one more day of anguish.
So as you approach your anniversary....I hope that you can look at the good stuff.......and realize that a lot of crap happens in life...It's what we do with it after..that makes us who we are.
It can be GOOD...It can be POSITIVE...
Take this time to reflect on the good things you've contributed to each others lives..build on it...shore it up against time and would be threat, make it strong! It's the best work you can do together.
Much love to you and your spouse.....D2K
