my wife and i took a trip to hot springs arkansas just to get away from oklahoma city for a while. it was great. there's an old hotel called the Majestic which has the old mineral bath house. the men's and women's bath houses are separate and it is a very relaxing experience. a delicious free breakfast buffet comes with every night you stay at the majestic. we took a trip down the arkansas river on the Belle of Hot Springs. The motel was quiet and had huge rooms. hot springs is inside of a national forest called the ouchita mountains. it's beautiful country which is worth the visit with your loved one. hot springs also has a lot of history. it's just about time to see the fall foilage and this is a great place to do so.
