Today I am grateful because
1. God has truly blessed me with a wonderful man who does not look back or bring up the past. Each day I find a renewed love for him and am grateful that he has put up with me. I am undeserving of his love or God's but am grateful for both.
2. I was able to spend quality time with my two "young adult" sons last night. WOW - they looked so handsome in shirt and ties!
3. I have some great Christian friends who I know are continuing to pray for me though my crisis.
4. I was able to listen to somebody's divorce woes today and I was able to encourage her.

Today, I am grateful for:
1) The fact that I have received two job offers and two interviews in the span of one week after 4 1/2 months of NOTHING. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
2) The unseasonably cool weather we're experiencing here in Dallas.
3) The opportunity to see my baby niece last night since my sister is in town from Houston.
4) The undying love of my wife who is back on track after her fall.
5) The fact that the six-month "anniversary" of W's affair passed 3 days ago, and I didn't realize it until today. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
6) The support and love of my family throughout my job search.
7) The fact that the OM got deported back to Canada last month, so I no longer have to think about the possibility of running into him again.
8) The fact that the Texas Rangers have reduced their "magic number" to clinch the American League West Division to only 3 games.
9) The fact that, through God's will, I am learning the art of that virtue we call patience (although I'm still a novice at it! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com])
10) The presence of all of you here at the MB Boards who helped me get through the toughest trauma of my life, and for the fact that ALL of you teach me (on a daily basis) that I still have a LOT to learn about people.

------------------
/// Lone Star * ///

I'm grateful:
1. to Lonestar, for bringing this thread back up to the top at the very time I was looking for it (so I could get it back up to the top).
2. that my MRI on Monday showed no specific injury to my ankle (just extreme trauma [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] ) and my doctor prescribed a walking cast to facilitate healing (since he knew I wouldn't use my crutches) [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
3. that my H is really backpacking this weekend with his BIL and friend (male) not with some OW. (He offered for me to spend the weekend with the SIL; or for me to come backpacking [yeah, right, with my traumatized ankle]; and he took the camera to prove who he was hiking with.) And we were able to talk about my insecurities in this regard (he "backpacked" with this same BIL when in fact he was meeting OW in the past).
4. that we're able to provide a room in our home for a friend who is down on his luck right now
5. that I have an understanding boss who is generous with me regarding my seemingly unending doctors appointments this month.
------------------
RobinAnn
*********
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape!
