I tried and tried yesterday to get on...and finally started to e-mail for help when I thought to try one more thing.

I had to use the capital letters in my password although I've never had to before. That worked for me. Phew! I couldn't even get a new password to work so I didn't know what I was going to do.

And it's so dumb...ya sit here reading the board and trying to get logged in and ya think..."I'll just post and ask how this works"..and realize IT WON'T WORK.

I feel much better today. I am buzzing around quite well...of course this is my first post today so we'll see how I feel in a few minutes

Good Luck ARK^^

I noticed as I was trying to sign up for a new name, that didn't work, I couldn't get the * at the end.

I don't know if anybody has already said this. I downloaded Netscape 7.2, it has mozilla built in. Getting logged out has ended. I have been logged in for about an hour now. Even on the old program I wouldn't have lasted this long. Here's a link for anybody who can use it.

And for the Mac, there's Safari, Omniweb, Netscape, and iCab. ...there's another one that I've not used, but I don't remember what it's called.

There is also Mozilla for Mac!

I haven't been able to see people's initial posts but now I can.
I have had problems with being logged off when I thought I was on...but my W says I am better now (this calls for a "smily but where are they?)

Sometimes I try to post a reply and the "system" tells me I haven't "completed the form" and I lose my reply. These things take me a long time to compose since I only use my thumbs.

Hiker,

My H uses the hunt & peck routine so it takes him an awful long time to compose a post. That's why he's only posted 3 times! LOL He is getting faster w/this method though I must say!

Pep, question for you...

I long while back you mentioned the book "Passionate Marriage" by Snarch.

Since my wife is still at her mothers house, I've had lots of time to read...I picked this up at the library. We are talking and I'm hopeful she will be coming home this weekend.

The picture Snarch paints of an individual who is poorly differentiated fits me too well. I'm quite concerned about this and fear that I've been mistaking being "emotionally fused" with being healed.

I feel like I've insisted that our recovery revolve around us finding ways to validate and support each other. I'm a little panicked that I've made a horrible mistake.

How can you tell if you are differentiated? What does it feel like?

A lot of the book is going over my head. I like to think of myself as intelligent, but I'm somewhat of an emotional dunce I suppose.

If you have read the book, can you break this down into terms even a man can understand?

Posting here for low profile...I feel a little humbled by realizing that I don't know myself as well as I thought I did. I feel like I've had the emotional legs kicked out from under me.

Low
