Hope I can stay logged on long enough to post this!

I wanna be a Goddess too!

While I am a somewhat older, reserved southern lady, I have no problem with pink (or any other color) sunglasses, with or without rhinestones, as long as they're attached to an attractive matching chain so I don't lose them. Three inch heels are definitely out though. I'm in my "comfort years" now.

As for OW bashing, I suggest that Goddesses bash their own, or agree with the bashing of our fellow Goddess's OW -- not bashing OW in general for fear that repented OW who post here might be offended as has been mentioned.

So, Mimi, can I be in the Goddess club?

I haven't heard from you ladies!

Are you:

Wearing your sunglasses?

Maintaining your "workout program"?

Working on your "personal growth"?

Done your inspection for removal of unwanted facial hair(s)?

Eyebrows arched?

Wearing workout clothes in public? (NO! NO! NO!)

Wearing your lipstick?

Togas Draped?

Let me hear from you!!

Checking in...Wearing black capris and a wildly striped taylored blouse. Hair is straight (sorry Mel - I know Texans are supposed to have big hair, but I'll have to settle for LONG hair), and worn down. Sunglasses are in my very chic straberry rita bag (it's seriously got strawberry ritas stitched all over it). Loafer mules on the 'patos (actually they're under the desk right now as I am sitting indian style at my desk). Toenails painted...had gloss on the lips, but the Diet Pepsied off (that WAS for Mel).

For good measure, I tapped my Lilo hula figurine so she'd hula for the goddesses. She makes me smile.

M23B is saying OOPS! But having met her, I think she even would make gym clothes look good!

TooOld Goddess checking in!

My sunglasses are safely tucked in their case in the car. Wouldn't want to cause any passersby harm from their glare - uhm, I mean glow. I'm wearing my rose colored glasses at work today.

Facial hair inspection is a must each day.

My toga is draped - over my treadmill. I'll have to hem that thing before I can wear it out in public!

I listened to my Spanish tapes while I got ready for work (personal growth?)

Overall not a real bad start of my first full day of Goddessness. I'll get the hang of it pretty soon.

Umm... hi... rubbing toe in sand with shoe... I want to be a Goddess, too, but I might need lessons. I have come a long way, though - I started with 3" black heels and a short tight black skirt. (Actually, that's because I saw Curly (the OW) in a store one day wearing something similar just before they met at the hotel.) I now also have red alligator heels and my latest, pink strappy sandals with big flower on the sides with ankle straps!! He has noticed, too. Hee Hee. I have a couple of off-the shoulder sweater tops, but can't keep them down - they keep sliding back up on my shoulders. I don't feel much like a Goddess. Do you have any Goddessing tips? I have started wearing long gowns again instead of pajamas. I could use some fashion advice. So, can I take goddess lessons from y'all?

Mimi,

Does GG have Goddess permission to be absent from this forum???

I'm a little worried. Have you heard anything from him?

Finally in and able to post!
I've been wanting to join since the very first post!

My clients even call me the "Insurance Goddess" although my company wouldn't let me put it on my business cards instead of boring ol "agent." (sigh...no vision!)

I have the required pink sunglasses!

I don't currently occupy the lofty position of wife, I'm a single gal. But I do respect all you wives out there and I respect myself too!

I love all the fashion stuff! Tiara's go with everything! But really -- Goddesses rock no matter what they wear.

I see other potential Goddesses are having a hard time logging in and posting too. I find that when I remove my tiara I have better luck staying logged in. Something about magnetic fields and puters????

Perhaps our honorary (or ornery (sp?) Wizard could shed some light on this?

Mimi and all Goddesses, I really liked our thought for today (yesterday).

"Feel the fear and do it anyway"- Jack Canfield, SUCCESS PRINCIPLES.

I have applied that in many ways since D-day. I had always led a pretty predictable lifestyle before then. I never went anywhere because my husband wouldn't go anywhere and it was "unsafe" for a woman to travel alone so he said. Since then I've driven to Key West, through the Smokey Mountains and hiked to remote waterfalls. Heck, I even rode a rollercoaster that flips you upside down a couple of times! (This was not the "A" Rollercoaster, THAT one was REALLY nauseating!)

I haven't felt like a Goddess in a long time. Let's all learn together what it's like!

You guys had me contemplating a Tattoo last weekend. I'm looking for a tiara. Now, riding a rollercoaster!

OMG, What's going to become of me/us?

TOO OLD:

I'm putting you in charge while I go away. MAKE SURE THAT THE GODDESSES MAINTAIN THEIR DIGNITY.

I'll be back on Monday.

BTW, I read today that CSUE walks 3 miles a day. How's that for a "workout program". Does she win the prize for WORKOUT GODDESS?

CSue-3 miles a day? Yes she certainly deserves the prize! 3 miles a month is more my style.

I'm not sure I can handle a bunch of rowdy Goddesses - with 3-inch heels on a weekend!

Have a great weekend! Ride a rollercoaster!
