<clearing my throat> Sorry Goddesses, this Diva has not been feeling so divine! Between pneumonia and a FWH who is still not sure *if* he wants the M to survive... Grr! Not a good couple of days!

But, I did land a cool new job, working with cancer patients! Start next week!! Yeah!

Still have my Ray Bans...

Monday night I went out w/ FWH and wore a black slip dress, fishnet stockings and knee high black boots! DD13 did my hair and DD4 my nails! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> DS, 11 directed!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> It was nice, but too short... <heavy sigh>

Maybe this Diva needs to b**ch slap that man to knock some sense into him!!! JK!

[color:"red"] Oh, and OW aka blubber dog... yep, saw her fat a33 at the gym Monday... whipped the car around and misssed her (what? she cannot see a black car heading toward her in broad daylight?! <batting well groomed eyelashes inocently>)

FWH called me as I was in the process of dropping him off when this occured, gasped he really thought I was going to hit her.... <evil grin>

Awwww the anger, one day at a time!

I have applied that in many ways since D-day. I had always led a pretty predictable lifestyle before then. I never went anywhere because my husband wouldn't go anywhere and it was "unsafe" for a woman to travel alone so he said. Since then I've driven to Key West, through the Smokey Mountains and hiked to remote waterfalls. Heck, I even rode a rollercoaster that flips you upside down a couple of times! (This was not the "A" Rollercoaster, THAT one was REALLY nauseating!)

Holy mackeral Tooold, you get the crown in my book! I'm a single mom, and very independent but driving alone especially in the mountains through winding roads way up high, would put me in a panic attack to top all panic attacks.

Driving alone anywhere outside of these country roads where I live gives me panic attacks, so you rock in my book!

I know that this is a GODDESS forum, but the CHIEF GODDESS (Mimi) said I could post here....

I've read through this whole thread. Speaking strictly from a MAN's point of view...I think you are all GODDESSES....but,

none of you need the confirmation of ANY MAN to know that about yourselves, right ?!?

I think that I would tremble and be afraid in your presence....better keep my distance.

The night or the dress? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Make sure your wearing those sunglasses when you have those near misses. You don't want to be recognized!

Formerly G.G. - We Goddesses love to hear from Goddess admirers. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> Alas, some of us in the past have based our self worth on what we were told by men. But by becoming Goddesses, we recognize that WE are responsible for our own self esteem. It's good just to be our own Goddess selves.

Weaver - Thanks for your vote. I wasn't completely alone, my Granddaughter was with me. What a pair we were! You could not have pried my hands off the steering wheel and she was saying "Turn around, I don't want to go any higher"! But, we REALLY felt the fear, and did it anyway! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

LADIES! LADIES! LADIES!

I couldn't find you! I hope you are all out FLITTING your togas!

I've been doing some GODDESS MAINTENANCE over the past few days, mostly domestic stuff. I got rid of the ultra-feminine comforter set that I bought out of protest during PLAN B. Surprised my H yesterday and bought a more H-friendly set. He was happy. It was significant and symbolic.

Also, I have been working on changing my style to being less conservative. I had resisted, thinking that my H's suggestions were aimed at trying to make me more like the FOW. I've since realized that he wanted to see ME make changes. I have been a lot more mindful about my purchases, trying to get out of my rut. Today I wore pink, waist-length cardigan with black beads in the design, camisole underneath, black knee-length skirt with black stockings. H said to me this morning, "My, you look PRETTY." Wow, that felt good.

The good feeling mainly comes from feeling so much better about myself. It's so important to take care of ourselves and to value ourselves. When did start focusing on being a mother rather than a WOMAN GODDESS?

BTW, TNT:
I almost bammed into the FOW's car last week, too. Don't they know that GODDESSES own the roadways? They better be on the lookout for us!

[color:"pink"] No Mimi,

It isn't abandonment....it's the frickin website!!!!!!!!!

I posted a nice Goddess like post earlier this afternoon, and poofffffffffffffffffffff, it went away.

So I went off in an un-Goddess like HUFF, and have only since returned, but without the wit of my previous lost post!!!

Now I love MB, and I KNOW admin is working hard on the site; and other than logging me off all the time, I really like it - especially when I learn to use all the pretty colors....

Ok, I'll copy this before I go any further, like WGG has suggested in the past.........

Edited to add - that it took me 3 times to post the above and 2 times (so far) to do this edit!

I'm happy to have posted in pink however - but couldn't they come up with a hottttttttter pink??? Don't you think??

[color:"blue"]LMAO!! No the night was too short... there is such thing as a too short dress on a Goddess? Not for us Divas! <hmphh!>

[color:"blue"]I am feeling restored nearly to full Diva status!! I came to a realization today that I need to do my own thing in this M (& life!) 'bout now! I cannot make the FWH come back home if he doesn't want to, and to h3ll w/ him anyway! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

No, seriously, he is dragging his feet and I need to just worry about me right now! Still would say us Type Twos cannot do this easily, but I feel up to the challenge! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

BF & I are hitting Applebees (woo-hoo! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> ) tomorrow evening for a Diva chat. Thursday H and I are supposed to have a date... hmmmm, what shall I wear?!

Csue,

[color:"purple"]I don't know if it's my computer but I could hardly see your pink text. Can you see this purple text? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

TNT,

We are getting an Applebee's in my town soon. It will be the first chain type restaurant we have here.

I wish I could think of something goddessy to say, but my goddessness is sorely lacking right now.

Oh I know, two more inches to go off my waist and then I am getting that belly ring! Just in time for my trip to Cancun. [color:"purple"]Cool, heh?

Oh and I did just purchase some ankle length brazillian jeans and some high heeled black thong sandals off of ebay. Also a to die for short sleeved red and black asian inspired wrap blouse.

Maybe I'll even go out with the girls one night soon, just so I can wear it!

Oh yeah, I still got the goddess thing going on, just had to post on this thread to start feeling it again! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Welcome back, Mimi.

I feel "casually" pretty today--hair, light makeup and my wrinkle reducing cream--but in jeans, polo shirt and my trusty pair of "walking shoes" I need to use more often. No fancy dressing necessary at my workplace. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I did buy a couple of outfits this weekend to bring my dark age wardrobe more up to date. A skirt-set(pretty multi colored print skirt with a pink top, and a dark teal dress with asymetrical (sp?) contrast stitching (hopefuly will make me look taller). Now I just need to find and brush off my "2" inch (NO, NOT 3 in) heels and buy a gallon of self-tanner for my legs! I just don't see me in pantyhose this summer. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Sigh, not feeling pretty today yet. I've worked out, walked the dogs and am working on cleaning up the house and putting away vacation stuff. I hate cleaning!

Goddesses should just have their houses cleaned for them!

Pretty soon I'll take a nice shower and get beautified.

Funny, before the A, I'd go out any old way. Now, I always make sure I'm looking good before I leave the house. If I ever meet slimeball OW, she'd better run fast!

May I apply for GIT? Goddess in training? I'm still fresh into this - Day 10 since finding out about A. Is there a qualifier?

I started hormone replacement therapy today :-( only 37. To make myself feel better I went out and bought 100, YES, 100 new sets of scrumptious, pretty, silky, sexy panties, thongs and g-strings!!!

What say ye most splendiferous ones?
