If I click on a topic, I get a screen that tells me there's no such URL.

Other than the fact that I can't read posts and can't stay logged on, I'm liking this new board thingy just fine. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Papermom, if it makes you feel any better, I get the same thing when I click on the topic.

When I connect to the Internet using Mozella Firefox, I stay logged in.
But if I connect through Internet Explorer, I get logged out just changing topics!

You might want to download the other Firefox Internet server.
It is free.
Do you remember the topic from the previous MB?
It gives the site to click on.

This is what I get if I click on the topic on this NEW AND APPROVED message board:

The page you have requested was not found.

Possible solutions:

1. If you got here by typing in a URL, make sure the spelling, capitalization, and punctuation are correct, then try loading the URL again.
2. Click the Marriage Builders red arrow logo above, to go to our front page.
3. If you got here by clicking a hyperlink on a Marriage Builders page, or if you need other assistance, please contact our Web Master by using the form below.

Thank you for visiting Marriage Builders!

Yesterday, I couldn't do anything. I could read posts if I wasn't logged in and couldn't post anything. I was getting some of the same messages as you are. I also was getting something about having an unauthorized server. Early this morning, I played around with my Norton Firewall settings and it worked. I printed out the info in the Tech Support link listed above.

I'm not sure what I did, checked and uncheck a few boxes but I'm on fine now. Well, I get logged out every other second but I figure that's a bug they'll get worked out.

I can only view posts when I click the last post entry...
I can't click on the topic and view the post.

Okay, people.

Go to My Home and change your display preferences. This will let you view all posts as needed. Change from Threaded Mode to Flat Mode...

I had the same problem viewing posts and found hints from EN thread named new board follies or something like that!! Now all is fine and I am liking this better.

Good Luck,

jls

Hey jlseagull.
THANK YOU....IT WORKED. I changed 'threaded' to 'flat' mode.
Now I am able to click on the subject and it shows.

I finally was able to go to 'My Home' and have it show 'display preferences'.... (It has NOT been working since I came to this MB, it only showed log in and I was ALREADY logged in) so I changed the number per page to 30 and the skin color to 'blues'....

Now the messages all have a pretty blue background.

Sincerely, Julie
