LEMONMAN, I KNOW YOU ARE DISAPPOINTED IN THIS NEW MESSAGE BOARD.
HOWEVER, I WAS WONDERING IF YOU HAD NOTICED HOW MANY READ YOUR APRIL FOOL'S MESSAGE AND ALSO IF YOU READ THE REPLIES???
DON'T GIVE UP ON THIS BOARD. YOU ARE A DOCTOR, YOU WILL GET THE HANG OF IT, ESPECIALLY IF YOU DOWNLOAD MOZILLA FIREFOX.
ALSO AFTER LOGGING IN, GO TO 'MY HOME' AND THEN 'DISPLAY PREFERENCES' AND CHANGE THE MODE TO 'FLAT' INSTEAD OF 'THREADED'. (AND DELETE THEM COOKIES!)
Sincerely, Julie

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Aynd Rand an unrepentant WW [her OM Nathaniel Branden] to her husband, Frank O'Connor? [probably was part of the reason he drank himself to death].

True about Ayn Rand being an adultress. I do not respect that about her personal life choices. She was a bit extreme in some areas...humanistism, self-centered, pretty much anti-Christian. I certainly wouldn't be a worshiper of hers. (I do have a BIL who recently joined the Ayn Rand society.)
I like what I hear of the CATO Institute.
But I prefer individualism to collectivism. Pretty much a Christian Libertarian but registered GOP.
I'd part ways with Ayn Rand in the area of belief in God and that I've chosen to be a Christian believer.
But the underlying anti-communist-socialist message in the book did make a big impression on me.

This thread is becoming the Ayn Rand thread....
Mabe we should start a new one....although I agree that LM deserves it for tricking many of us....
Trix, the way you describe yourself fits me to a "T". I was dissappointed in her equating religion to mysticism. Maybe if she had more faith, she would have kept from straying from her husband. I dunno.
If we start believing that we only answer to ourselves, then selfish acts, like an A, are bound to occur.

[color:"darkorchid"][b]Lemonman, I see you posted tonight. You are not on this new message board very often.
Um, you never came back to the thread you started on April 1 to:
TELL US YOU WERE SORRY!
Did you notice how many people read this thread that believed your topic title???
Did you read what I wrote to you? Do you sometimes feel you gave up too soon on trying to forgive your wife and give your marriage another chance?
You are a NAUGHTY Boy for starting this thread!!!

Julie LOL, well I guess I do owe people an apology for that low down prank. I just couldn't resist. I honestly in my heart of hearts know that I did everything that I was capable of doing to save my marriage. I am just not the kind of man who could use some of these plans to work on my wife coming back to the marriage. I could never stay married and live under the same roof while my wife saw the OM as many people do here during their plan A's. SO, no Julie, I do have no regrets. I know that their are many people who are far more forgiving and can tolerate far more abuse and indignation than I could in the hopes of remaning married. That is just not me. I do support marriage building, contrart to popular belief around here. I don't post maninly because I hate the new board format, I even hate the font the board uses. There are too many bugs that are still in the system and it is too anoyying for me. I lack patience here. This MB is still great with it's content, but I must say that the administarters of this site really screwed the pooch on this one and blew it big time when they "upgraded" the accout over easter holiday. The board took a ginat leap backward then and it continues to slide. I will be around though.
Some people just don't get it, they don't get it that they don't get it.
I had the right to remain silent.......but I didn't have the ability.

Lemonman, Come back!!! I read your input on KMEJ's thread, then I was reading this thread, then you posted, then i had to read it again.
I'm sorry, I like the new site. But I always have been a little(?) strange. I hated posting on the old one, just got Foxfire before it changed and this one is faster for a po' ol' soul like me, still stuck on dial-up.
I miss your input here on the board. Hope you visit again and soon!! I often agree with your opinions, although I tend to see the women's perspective, esp. when she feels (and actually may be) STUCK.
