You have the baby. You take care of yourself and that child.
Do you have a H? Who is the bio-father? everyone needs to know

Susan, good grief. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

My best friend had her first baby at 40 (planned) and second baby at 45 (planned). Happy as a sandboy with her second darling little girl.

Hiker, Susan is happily married.

I'm very near her age (older) and I know EXACTLY what she's saying.

Hi Susan !

We've not been introduced but we share some good friends <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Just wanted to say that my own Mom had me in her forties. She joked that I was her menopause as she never menstruated again after I was born.

She called me her life's greatest blessing just before she died aged almost eighty after my whole lifetime spent as best friends with her.

She and my dad were invigorated by having a later baby ( 16 year safter my brother !!!) and age never factored for a second, except I got to spend a little less time with my folks than other people are blessed with.

I've had a great life with 'older' parents, and they had a great life with/because of me.

Don't fear the stork ! :

All blessings !

Dearest Susan,

Blessings to you and your new blessing to be.

This post woke me out of a great slumber.
I feel inspired and invigorated.

I am jumping in with both feet and bodly suggesting the following and pray you will hear me out.

My greatest hope is that you and the baby to be will join me and my family in Austin Texas at the marriage builders compound.

I have been planning this compound for a long time and realized with your announcement that the best way to kick it off would be the birth of your baby at the ribbon cutting ceremony.

I will be asking pepperband to be the midwife and birth the baby. I do need to discuss her choice of attire though, I think she needs to tone down the glitter look as I am not convinced it is appropriate for the vision of how the women of the marriage builders compound need to dress. Also it can cause nasty eye infections so I am told.
But do not worry I have a plan (C) to assist her in complying

I am hoping for an underwater birth at the compound's new pond/brainwashing station.

melody lane will join us ofcourse since it's in texas and I have visions of her riding bare back shooting a pistol in to the air at the exact moment of the babies birth.

Hopefully it will be a boy and we can name it willard steven ARK^^ as that would be most fitting in my opinion.
Surely you agree.

the compound though heavily patrolled should be lovely. And all buildings will be built to be to totally invisible to any alien ships passing over head. WAT has graciously supplied the secret plans to make this possible and I am sure he does not mind me outing him here and begin to sing my gratitude for his diligent anti-alien fog work. He is brilliant.

please Susan...open your mind and view this wonderful news in a new fresh way...
and join me...
and if you INSIST you husband may come as well, though I hope he likes wearing spandex and purple converse tennies as I have lately noted how truly well they do go together...

I hope you are excited about this as I am. I have been planning this a long long time.

Bless you

Just Learning

ark posts as Just Learning?

Interesting for someone 12 posts to "appropriate" the name of a veteran.....I wonder what JL has to say about it?

Fun IS fun, but not too sure about "stealing" someone else's name as part of the joke. Or is JL really ark?

April 1st....too many excuses for irrational behavior.

Susan....fact or fiction?

We have one grown son.

I was secretly hoping for a girl so that I could name her Sheba Pepperband Turner.

Haven't had it done yet - I will hopefully be having the op in May but I am the world's biggest chicken. Actually, I'm not having a tummytuck, I'm having an 'apronectomy' which is just to tighten the skin that hangs over my C-Section scar. Ask me again in a couple of months. However, Mom-2-3-boys has had the works - if I remember rightly boobs and tummy. So she might be the one to ask. So what does it mean 'the rabbit died'?

I gained weight in my stomach after I went on AD's, for the first time in my life.

And it has been the hardest thing to lose, even just getting an inch off has been such a struggle.

I need some outside intervention too I think.
