I ran mu first EVER race. I did the famous Chicago, LaSalle Bank Shamrock Shuffle yesterday, it is a 8K run, which is about 5miles. I am proud of myself that I finished the race.

I started running when D-Day hit, it was a way to release myself from everything. I feeel like i have accomplished something. Are you guys pround of me.

I tried to post to this earlier, but I guess I messed up.

I was trying to say Congratulations!

Running is such a wonderful way to deal w/ the stress of this situation.

Keep up the great work!

Congratulations!!
YES I'm proud of you!

I've watched many of those runs on TV, and really admired the runners for their ambition and perseverence! I've often thought it would be fun to do something like that however the thought was not powerful enough to prod me out of my horizontal viewing position!!

I'm proud you too. Great job! You wanted something, you went after it and you got it. Keep going after what you want, whatever that may be.
