What is going on with this board?

I can't post, I can't stay logged in, I have posts going up into thin air.

Yeah, there's something un-fun about all this logging in.

A friend of mine thought they could help my 'problems' with this unimprovement. And they were able to do so. But I have no idea what changes they made to my settings.

Judging by the lack of posts (normally this board would have [color:"blue"] DOZENS of new posts [/color] (and lots more new threads) EACH DAY, I think you are in the majority of people having difficulty with the new boards. I have issues with it too, but they are minor compared to what you're experiencing. I have written the webmaster but haven't heard back, either. Maybe they're swamped fixing all the problems<img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> It seems like we're all left alone in some type of [color:"red"] twilight zone [/color] ...which is sad because these boards and the people on it (yourself and Cinderella, and all the other long-timers) are such great resources for all the new people going through all these divorce-related situations. But they'll never be able to get your insight and encouragement if you can't post. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

I guess it did GO thru, there is still something wrong I can't access the entire board only what is current.

I sent the webmaster several emails and heard nothing. Thankfully, a friend was able to work on the situation for me.

I still get logged out all the time but i can post now.

I was briefly over on GQII and people over there are also having problems staying in and such. They are also suggesting Mozilla Firefox as the browser, so I've just downloaded and am giving it a whirl. But the board administrator also responded to the post over there and it sounds like they are aware there are issues and are working toward a solution.

Keeping my fingers crossed. I want things back like they were (sort of like what I wanted in my M for so long...but didn't get that wish). Let's hope we get this one. It's very frustrating right now to do much on here other than just lurk.

I have been reading here and in GQII, I think I maybe making some head way here.

At least I'm not getting logged out all the time now, at least not at the moment... so that helps a bunch. It gives me some time to go through some of this and change the preferences.
