I tried to find your former post about going to a work event with your H. So, I don't know if you already did an update followup. Did you go? How did it go?

I was very apprehensive and not feeling safe about going to the event -- I have been treated very disrespectfully by both him and his co-workers at these things in the past -- so I asked him to give me some reassurance. He couldn't do that. Just sat and glared instead. So I didn't go, but to his credit, neither did he.
Are you dealing with a similar situation? Talk to me -- I've probably heard it all when it comes to corporate crapola.
