My WH is here and wanting to post for help... (I recently posted about our D-Day #2 that happened approx a week ago that we are working though)It is such progress that he would be here...but he registered, went through the process with no problems, and has not received the "activation email" that lets him actually post. He has emailed admin/ webmaster and gotten no response. I have done the same for him. Still nothing. Is this a problem with the new board? What can we do??? Anyone have an ideas on how to fix this or get a response from MB?

I clicked on the moderators name to hopefully send a PM to the moderator, but that option isn't possible either. It's not highlighted so you can click on it.

Frustration.... Argh!
Thanks in advance.
Jen

there are still some glitches on the boards. Any chances that the activation email got sent to the wrong account? If you re-register do you get the same problem? You might try that if you haven't.

JenniJ,

I have read your thread. I suppose Admin is still swamped with emails concerning the problems the new forum has presented. We mods have no powers to help with registration but I will forward a link to your post to Admin.

In the meanwhile, while he's waiting for approval, could he perhaps just post under your name with the immediate identifier as "Hi, this is JenniJ's H"? Not ideal, I know, but I guess we just have to improvise til the system gets ironed out.

Hopefully you'll get that confirmation email soon,, <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I haven't received any e-mail from the forums. Please e-mail me directly (tempestMB@verizon.net) with the username that your H had registered with. Please note that if it has been more than 24 hours since the account was registered that the forum software will delete the account. I don't think this is something I can adjust, nor is it something I can undo.

Tempest, we are grief stricken about the loss of the  smilie. Any chance we could get that back?

Here is a thread about it: expression of our grief

Thank you so much Justus, Tempest, and others for your help. Tempest, I'll have him email you... Thank you for your attention to this as I know this week has been challenging to you all and you've been flooded with complaints and problems. Hopefully, he'll be able to be on soon.
Gratefully,
Jen

Be sure and check your spam or junk mail. For some reason my antivirus sofware put MB replies or notifications into my junk mail.
