NC: Hello my friend:
Sounds like your perspective is intact. One thing that helped me pertains to an often used scripture by husbands & wives:
Ephesians 5:25-27
25Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26to make her holy, cleansing[a] her by the washing with water through the word, 27and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
One thing to keep in mind, particularly in your case is this: You are to love RAP as Christ loved the church... However my question to you is this; how did Jesus respond to the church when the church was in the throngs of sin - and chose to continue sinning? The answer is written, but I ask that you find it for yourself. (Not a challenge; there is a method to my madness!)
As painful as all of this is for you - you are remaining Godly. A "kindred spirit" is what my preacher says. Fighting the good fight... Godspeed Mark!

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you stop to look fear in the face. Challenges can be stepping stones or stumbling blocks. It’s just a matter of how you look at them. The purpose of life is to live it, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience

NCW, remember what I said in my e-mail to you?
You will minister to people in need.
Step back, read the replies to you - it's amazing.

I was thinking how wonderful that you are doing so well at work. You have people appreciating your skills and boosting your ego at a time when, potentially, you could feel lousy about yourself. It is very timely indeed. Good luck with your job and have a good road trip. TT

NCW - I answer to any of the above! Have a good weekend. I see you didn't add HK to the list of stopovers! Don't have an email for you and have never done that anyway! TT

I wish I had the answer for you and your family. I dont I'm not sure I have it for mine. We all do the best we can with what we have before us.
I wish I had some insight to give you, but I cannot. A one time thing I can relate to but to hurt your family again? I just dont know what to say except I can pray for you & RAP and your kids. Magic wands are in short supply these days. But miracles, I still have hope of those. If I can ever help, if RAP wants to email me one day I'll be happy to help out.
All my best
Life may feel as if you are constantly getting kicked on a daily basis, living is about picking yourself up each day and going on and on and on regardless.

TT,
No problem. Will be happy to just be friends here.
AW,
Thanks. I do appreciate it. She has quite a circle of friends, but none have been able to figure out this new behavior. I, too, believe in miracles.

NCW - I'd be more than happy to email you but I haven't done that before on the board so I don't know how. My email address is my real name and I'm not happy about revealing my real identity on these forums. Not that I'm royalty or anything but just would seem weird. I think you could do wonders for my spiritual being - I need help in that direction; truly. TT

TT, You can email me safely at rapandncw@nc.rr.comFF, You always must have hope. I don't like my betting odds right now, but I will never give up hope. Like you, my WS has crossed the line too many times. I have retrieved her once. Not doing it again. The prodigal son wised up and RETURNED, remember? The Father did not chase after him. If there is one thing God has given us, it is free-will. How can I hope to take that from RAP? SHE must make a free-will choice about what is important to her. I have told her how I feel, but can't make her do anything. Nor would I want to. Sound like your situation? Sure it does. All you can do is be honest to your spouse. Then it is there choice. NCWalker
