CONGRATS on the anniversary !!!!!!!!!!
Boy we both almost didn't make it back then.
But here we both are...well on the way to a happy 'rest of our lives'.
You think we should start a thread with successes in it to encourage the strugglers ?
God is great, MB is a godsend.
all blessings

[color:"purple"]Hi Bob!
Thank you very much for the kind words! You are right, there were times that I didn't think I would make it. What helped me the most was realizing that it really wasn't about the OM but what caused me to go to him. Once I started thinking about the affair in those terms it seemed to me that recovery began.
Thank goodness for MB. There were times where I literally wanted to die from all the guilt and humiliation I was feeling. At least when I came here to MB I realized that I wasn't the only one going through all this he!!.
Recovery can happen but I think Kiwij said it best, you have to be willing to work at it, you have to be determined and not let the temptations, fustrations and all the other emotions get the best of you.
I never want to go through this again, but hubby and I have come out better than ever, and for that I thank God. He is the one that got us both through this. He deserves all the glory. [/color]

Thanks Faithful and NC!! It's been a wild year and like Bob said, there were times where I didn't think I would make it. I am proud of what I did, but not too proud!! LOL
NC, my heart goes out to you and RAP. She started posting here when I did. It upsets me that she knows what she is doing wrong and continues. She is truly addicted. You two are in my prayers.
Last night hubby and I went out for dinner and then he bought me flowers at a farmers market. It was a wonderful evening!!!
