Thanks for all the help with my last post! Still have a few lingering problems.. Itold wife that MAYBE all three of us could be friends in time but still to early to tell. Thought i would test it and OM stoped by the other day for about 45 min. Uncomfortable at first by got so-so later. I keep thinking that if they where such close friends in their childhood then why did they not talk for the last 12 years i have been with her? And why such a big stink for the two of them to remain friends? Am i setting myself up for a big hurt down the road or can they be JUST friends?at times I think well, it was just a weekend fling while W and I where in a Very bad slump (mind you she thought it was over between us). So many questions.. I wish it all never happened. And i feel like a smuck for bothering all of you reading this when there are ppl out there comming out of year/s long affairs. But thanks for the help!

Why are you giving support to the A by allowing contact? If your W wants to contact an OM, she should do it away from the family and without the benefits of a family.

What should you do? Get with a good MC so you can have a real plan. REmove yourself from the A.

Call Jennifer C @ MB for some phone counseling. Read Suriving an Affair.

It must be awful for you. I have a friend from college that I keep up with never had an affair with him or anything. I just wanted to let you know why I kept in touch I can talk to him for hours and he never gets bored I can't talk to my husband for more than five min before I loose his attention. My friend and I never crossed the line of friendship into adultery. In fact this friend called me up to tell my he cheated on his fiancee and my reaction was welll you have bben playing with fire for years he is an outlandish flirt. I have known him a long time so I don't take it serious. I never really went to him when my husband and I were having problems either cause I did not want any temptation. My husband wound up having an affair a one night stand casue he decided the marriage was over he im'd me admitting he was unfaithful to me. I am trying hard to find forgiveness I do love him but I really cant tell you is it worse to be cheated on or lied to.
