I have a new problem as a BS -- when WW and I have relationship talks, I talk WAY too much.

I don't know if I'm just too nervous, anxious, stressed, lonely, or what. But my wife practically has to tell me to shut up once I get going about how we are going to get through this, how we will be happy together, how optimistic I am, etc.

Of course, the flip side to this is that if I talk enough, eventually something comes out differently than I mean it, and it may be misinterpreted as a bad thing.

It's funny, because I rated a "-3" on conversation in her EN questionnaire, and now she can't keep me quiet.

Anyway, does anyone else have this problem? How can I make myself slow down, rather than bombarding her?

Ohmygosh, I have the same problem! The only I can do is to catch myself and make myself stop talking. So, here's how it works: if you feel a conversation coming on (I'm sure you know what I mean) just remind yourself that you talk too much, lol. Then, when the conversation is initiated listen for your brain to tell you when it's too much and make yourself slow down or stop. That way, you can hear everything S has to say! Good luck!

The greatest happiness is that you can have is knowing that you do not necessarily require happiness. William Saroyan
