I was sitting here feeling sorry for myself as usual, and wondering whether it was worth my while to go on rebuilding my marriage. Something told me to go put on some reggae, and within minutes I was feeling much better. The song that did it? "You can get it if you really want" by Jimmy Cliff.
Here are the lyrics:
You can get it if you really want
You can get it if you really want
You can get it if you really want
But you must try, try and try
Try and try
Til you succeed at last
Persecution you must bear
Win or lose you got to get your share
Got your mind set on a dream
You can get it tho' hard it may seem
You can get it if you really want
You can get it if you really want
You can get it if you really want
But you must try, try and try
Try and try
Til you succeed at last
Rome was not built in a day
Opposition will come your way
But the harder the battle you see
It's the sweeter the victory
Now imagine that to a bouncy reggae beat, if you don't own the song ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
All that's missing is a big fat spliff (just kidding) ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif) )

Speaking of inspiring lyrics:
If I listen long enough to you,
I'd find a way to believe that it's all true
Knowing that you lied, straight-faced, while I cried
Still I look to find a reason to believe
Smewches to yew

------------------
--Girlfriend in a coma (I know, I know it's serious)
