I am a HUGE American Idol fan, my children and I watch it every Tuesday and Wednesday night. We pick our favorites and we vote. Well last night my children decided they would rather play with their friends longer so they skipped the show, and there for lost the option to vote... Well my oldest son's favorite is Constintine, and I never voted for him last night.... well guess who got voted off? Yep my son's guy. He has been bawling, not just a few tears but full sobs huge tears bawling since they announced it tonight. I feel horrible. I know that it was not just my doing, and the person I voted for got about 50 votes from me alone, but I hate hearing him cry.
Wish I could cheer him up.

Constantine got voted off??? Is Beau/Bo/whatever still on? I did like Bo better, because I thought Constantine was a bit over the top sometimes with the way he looked into the camera and such, but GEEZ! I thought he had the rest of the women in America snowed! He seemed so sure of himself.
Did he act surprised or shocked? I have to live Idol through you, KMEJ! Do tell!!!
Don't tell your son what I said about Constantine, though. That totally sucks that it was his guy, and he got voted off. I remember being young, and really really really wanting something to happen ~ then it didn't happen. It's hard to find perspective at that age! {{{{{DS}}}}}

Its on friday here in the UK. Squid and I watch it usually when she gets back from Karate. I likes last season, thought Fantasia barrino and Latoya London had WORLD SHATTERING voices, this years a bit les special. I think Constantine did well for a metaller TBH, he doesn;t really have a 'pop' voice. Your son can take solace from the fact that year after year in these talent shows the best, rather than the winner has the most success. Constantine will sell 2 million albums, while if some rubbish like Antony Federer or Scott wins they won't shift a unit. I'd pay to see a Gig of Bo's band playing southern rock ! Anybody that does Whipping post and Remedy on a pop idol show deserves props ! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Kmej, that's strange your DS got so attached to Constantine, isn't it? He sounds like a little sweetheart!
I like Constantine too. I agree with Spidey though about the way he looked into the camera, and being over the top. He does have a certain kind of sex appeal though.
And Bo, yes he rocks!
My little girl absolutely loves Kelly Clarkston. What a star that one is now!
So Bob, you always know in advance who is going to get voted off and who is going to win, heh? That bites.

Yeah my oldest is a bit of a delicate flower, especially when he is really tired, which he was last night. I let him get up once the other two were asleep and we talked, I told him that I would buy him Constentines first album, as I was sure it would come out.
I did not like how he looked in the camera or pursed his lips. gave me the creeps.
I like Scott, he is a little scarry looking, but seems like the all american underdog, and I THINK that is why I like him. I also LOVE Carrie because she is a country girl and I am too!
