Have a lovely birthday!

Thanks everyone - I've been having a GREAT birthday for 2 days now. Haven't done anything real exciting, just lots of fun little things.

Today we went to the outdoor market and bought watermellon, grapes, tangerines, strawberries, and canteloupe, pears, and pineapple. YUMMY! I also bought the small pickling cucumbers, avocados, and some tomatoes on the vine - big, juicy, ripe, succulent tomatoes. In the stores here, tomatoes are very expensive, and mostly small and sad looking.

Then we went to a Cinco de Mayo festival on the beach. I took 4 neighborhood kids, and they had a blast - face painting, balloons, kite flying, music, and food.

By the way, the fish-fry never developed. Two of my sons went fishing again today, trying to catch something. Just in case, I bought some steaks to barbecue.

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
