My wife left me before we were divorced and moved to oregon and took our three year old. In the preliminary hearing the judge ruled she could stay in Oregon. I am extremely depressed. I don't know what to do. Please help me.

Did she establish residence in Oregon before either of you filed? If so, YOU are the out of state parent.
Good luck trying to negotiate shared custody across state lines. If your W is not cooperative, you may want to consider moving to Oregon also. It would make it much easier to be negotiate shared custody.

Hugs for you Jlavine. If you don't have an OR lawyer, get one. I'd really consider moving to OR asap. It's your best chance.
