I am so glad to read that you mother in law in fact is not going to OW baby shower and that she cares so much for your feelings. I have to admit I felt terrible for you that she would be embracing this grandchild in a way that was so disrespectful to you. So I am glad to hear otherwise -- good for Grannie!!!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> My mother in law has been a great support for me through this past year and it has helped me greatly. I hope you find the samething true in your sitch.

My MIL has also been very supportive of me and a great help to me. She does see OC when H brings her over, and buys OC gifts etc..., but she does not call OW (OW wants her to call to check on OC). She feels all contact can go through her son.
