Well, taking a chance in disclosing this, but maybe it will give some of you some hope. Most of you are familiar with my story 9see profile). Even though our marriage has been better than ever before, our communication has improved 1000%, and we are closer than I ever thought we could be, I've been having some trouble recapturing the passion I once had for my H (years ago!). This difficulty has made me unable to completely give in to him sexually. Let's just say I've been a "passive" participant in our lovemaking up to now (over 1 year into recovery).
Well, I'm pleased to report that I am feelin' that spark tonight! I cannot wait until time for us to go to bed tonight because I want to feel close to him so bad. He has been such an angel to me, so loving, so nurturing, so caring. Up to now, my heart has always been in it, but now I am feeling that "tingle" as well. We're definitely moving in the right direction!
I hope no one thinks I'm weird for posting this. I just want to give those of you going through the same thing some hope. I'll report tomorrow on how things went. Love is meant to bring us closer to God.

New Woman-
Thanks for the posts. As a spouse who is a long way into recovery, I think its important to emphasize that the "spark" can be regained BUT it will take a LONG time. Many of us want the spark back overnight and it just doesn't happen that way...but it can happen!
ENJOY! (The anticipation is almost as wonderful, huh?)

New Woman,
Great news! And thanks for sharing your hard earned success! Now, one more thing to remember...NEVER eat Pop Tarts. It will squash a woman's "tingle" sexual mood. Enjoy!
