Hi,
I'm not married, but i'm living with a guy who has already cheated on me w/ a girl from school. We are in college. We've been together for a year and a half. He's really likes her, and although they haven't "slept together", they did do some stuff like petting, making out, etc. Anyway, I've asked him to not talk to her at all, but it's difficult since they go to school together. It's the summer now, so that is convenient. He was still talking to her, though, even after the affair was found out. I asked him not to, but he said that he wouldn't contact her outside of school, but he would still talk to her at school. ? He is not going to talk to her over the summer, since they won't see each other at school. But, I'm sure they will see each other at school again this fall. Should I be worried??

You have NOTHING invested in this R except your time and some emotional attachment...this leopard will not likely change his spots (stop cheating).

Get out of this R as quickly and cleanly as possible. THere is NO reason to tolerate this behavior, ESPECIALLY if you aren't married. At least you found out BEFORE you got M'ed.

IMHO, you are asking for more heartache later in life if you stay. You're young and you will recover...you really will.

There are GOOD men out ther who WILL NOT cheat on you...you deserve much better than your current WB is offering.

FWIW,

WNB

RUN! And thank God that you found this out now and not in 5-10-15-20 years. You'll be sad but you won't have children, property and years of memory to deal with. He's already left you behind. Sorry, but you need to move on. The love you feel isn't worth the abuse.

Best wishes to a new future without a jerk.

You deserve someone who will treat you with dignity and respect and whom you can trust... Please get this man out of your life and find someone who has the same morals and values than you. Don’t settle for anything less… Yes, it will take you some time to 'get over' him, but it will be worth it and for your best interest. You can do this! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

You should run for your life! And thank the good Lord that you were forewarned before you married this man and had children and a mortgage with him. There are lots of decent men out there who will treat you with the respect and dignity you deserve and he ain't one of them.
