Well, after 19 years, I am divorced (she left me for "greener pastures"). Anyway, I have met a very nice lady and we have gone out 5 times. We tentaviley planned on going out tonight (Saturday) and I was out of town all week (she knew I was going to be gone). I left 2 messages with her before I left to confirm that we were meeting this weekend. She never called back!!! I got in late last night and am wondering should I call her today???? Is she trying to tell me she doesn't want to go out again?

That word 'tentatively' scares me. It sounds like there is no firm commitment to a date.

I suggest calling her and asking her a simple question like this: "Before I left, we had talked about possibly going out this saturday, I am wondering if you are available, otherwise I will do something my my buddies."

Don't ask what she is doing, or pry into her life. Accept her answer gracefully, notice if she holds out any interest in a future date, and then politely say goodbye. Next, go out and do something on your own , or with friends. If you don't go out at all, spend the time at home reading a good book.

There is an abundance of great women out there. You don't have to depend on any one woman for a date on Saturday.

Remember, you are the strong, confident male and she is lucky you have taken her out in the past. This is true no matter how many butterflies are flying about in your stomach. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
