Easy Off is my secret weaon for the outside of windows with screen burn or just winter dirt. It's my only cleaning tip. I am a terrible housekeeper. Great at other stuff tho. Don't want anyone worrying about my self esteem.

Anyone have any advice on how to clean glass shower door and windows? Mine have hard water/lime stains and all the CLR Limeaway products have no affect. Anyone?

Please, what is Easy Off BAM? Is it environmentally friendly?

I am from the UK and we are only allowed to use vinegar and baking soda over here.

For shower doors, use a "Scotch" brand sponge with the green "scouring" pad attached. These work on nearly everything.

One other tip, get a product called "White Lightning" for countertops, walls, most surface cleaning. It will remove water color stains (Kool aid, water paints, pen and pencil stains) from your counter top, and loosens burnt on residual from your glass top stove, as well.

This is one man who's lot in life is to clean showers and walls and counter tops. FWW has never cleaned our showers or tubs...

Happy scrubbing

For the shower use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It really is magic - so much so, I'm thinking of suggesting it to Piers Anthony so he can put it in a Xanth book...lmao!

Magic Eraser! It's one of the best cleaning tools I've ever had! When I got my first one, I wore it to a nub on the first day.

I started cleaning the shower a lot more after I got my eyes Lasik-ed. It's amazing how much cleaner a shower looks when you're half blind. Once I got perfect vision, it was "Oh My God! I've got to do something about this!"

My Girl Scout co-leader says that it's the fate of creative people to be less than tidy. I admit I've always got to save weird stuff for projects and reading a book sounds so much better than cleaning. (And I do use the stuff I've collected and I'm queen of the last minute project.) I just don't seem to SEE the mess until it builds to Herculian proportions.
