OK...well WH and I grew up in this area....although I was more popular in school ALOT of people in our area know me...I have alot of friends....so when people see things...it eventually gets back to me.....well today I went back to my old stomping grounds to see one of my young co-workers graduate from high school....while I was there I saw sooo many familiar faces from almost 10 years ago ....man how time flies....well i bumped into a gal whom i was very good friends with in high school....and of course she had to tell me her dirt of where she saw WH and the Ugly OW (or as Orchid and I call her Mrs. So and so ). I don't know why i believed him...but he had promised me he would keep ow out of our divorce precedings.... -_-....well the day he went to file his response...she was with him and after he filed it he went out to the parking lot and sucked face with her...(gag)....I guess it didn't make matters worse when my friend saw his smug face she yelled out "I wonder how SIHW feels" and he turned around and recognized her and then quickly left. Now when I filed for divorce...i really didn't want to do it...i was crying as I filed the paper work.....but I did it I did not take anyone to hold my hand or surly swap spit with right after wards.....forgive me fellow MBers.....but I will mostly likely bring this up at one point....I mean him and I are over....I know that but I still don't want the B%$#& near me or in my court proceedings. Can I have a judge throw her out of the court room???? I don't think I can but I just thought I would ask? In case he brings her....OH and on a side note...WH is sooooo stupid.....I was driving from my work and got to the stop sign and was turning to get to the free way enterance...well WH was on his way to OW's house...who is 2 blocks from where I live....he goes I turn in and end up behind him....he gets to the next stop sign first...I put on my blinker to turn the opposite direction of OW's house...he goes the same way.....so I see him slowly driving because I know he's going to make a U turn to go to her house....but I turn onto the freeway where I was headed...I have known where she lives now for MONTHS....I was almost mouthing the words to him...Just go to her house you freaking idiot....*rollseyes*.....and he still wants me to trust him with DS....suuuuureeee

SIHW, I am not sure where you live, and I am sure laws vary state to state, but in Maine this is a law.
" 3. Exclusion of public. In a divorce action, at the request of either party, personally or through that party's attorney, unless the other party who has entered an appearance objects personally or through that other party's attorney, the court shall exclude the public from the court proceedings.
If the court orders that the public is to be excluded, only the parties, their attorneys, court officers and witnesses may be present. "
H met OW- 8/3/04 while I was on vacation. False Recovery- 9/18/04, 10/26/04, 5/11/05 H said he wants a DV and marry OW 11/7/04 Divorce final 10/27/05 Son-5yr Daughter-2 1/2yr

Surviving,
It is the same in Ohio, only the parties and their attorneys are allowed in the court proceedings but it must be requested in advance.
That doesn't stop WS's from bringing OP's and letting them sit in the hall though.
Surviving, you can also request a restraining order against the OP being around your child. You may have better luck considering the age of your child.
You are keeping a log of everything right? Writing down all the crap that is happening? If not sit down and write as much as you remember, dates, times and keep it up to date. When faced with a log it tends to shut WS's up, there is just too much to refute and if they just say "It's all lies" in front of the magistrate (or something similar, dismissing it all with the flick of a wrist) the WS will lose all credibility. I don't know if cheating is grounds for divorce in Cali, but there are ways of working that point in to the proceedings without it being grounds.
Hadn't seen you post in a while and hope you and your child are doing well.
Sorry the stupidity continues.
Stay strong and smart

"Who are you" said the Caterpillar This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation.
Alice replied, rather shyly, "I--I hardly know, sir, just at present...At least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then."

Hi, Surviving.
What is it with these aliens, huh? Mine chose a real hag for his MOW, too. At least I have a stipulation in our custody/visitation agreement that WH can't bring MOW around our kids for 90 days (the middle of August)- and it wasn't easy to get that stipulation. Of course, we won't be divorced in August, so my kids (who will be 10 and 14 at the time) will get to see proof of their father's adultery in person. WH has already told the kids that he left us for 'someone he loves more than their mother.'
As another resident of the land of fruits and nuts and no-fault divorce, I know that the only boxes to check on divorce paperwork are 'irreconcilable differences' and 'divorce for reason of mental instability or insanity.' Adultery is not mentioned anywhere in the divorce paperwork. Even a person who files for divorce only to ensure court-ordered financial support (as I did) has to cite 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason. So unfair.
Sorry you're going through all of this too, Surviving. How could you not outshine her? Truth and honesty are always more beautiful than deception and sin.

*hugs pebbles* thanks pebs I really feel lucky to have someone else around here going through the same thing....who I can talk to and not sound insane to. I don't have many friends here so it's a comfort to know your around.
well we just got back from my living hell of a nightmare.....yes I had to walk away because my anger was making me misty eyed seeing this ugly hag encrouch upon my son. But I have to do whats in his interests if his stupid mornon of a father is going to force her into his life...at least I am there to console him he didn't want to be near her at first.....but while he was with his dad he warmed up *damn*.....I jsut wanted to tell her so bad...don't even think you have a right to try an mother him....you didn't do all the planning and research and trying for a year to get pregnant with him.....you didn't go through 9 months of gestational diabeties with him...you did not labor 36 hours to have him and go through an emergency c-section...and you have NOT raised him the last 10 months while his father flitted around with his whore....but no I kept my pretty little mouth shut....I was a good girl and kept my distance and did not talk or even give her the grace of looking at her. I hate this....I want them to leave us alone....I don't want to have to go through this...I almost think we would be better off without them.
