Hello,
I have been lurking for 2.5 weeks... real quick story...
I was recently informed that my wife was not happy and that she was thinking of a small separation. I was devestated...and suspicious...so I checked her e-mail and discovered she was having a long distance affair with an old friend...someone I thought she had an affair with during the beginning of our marriage. I confronted her in a very nice supportive way. She was very remorseful and wants to try and fix our marriage. It took 1 entire day to convince her to stop talking to the other man. Hopefully I can trust her to not contact him.
My problem is the affair happen during a time in our marriage where we were trying to have a baby, and then after she was pregnant she still continued it. but not much...in fact she said it was just 2 other times. I'm really sickned by this as I was doing everything for her at this time.

My question is how can I get over this...(i have read alot of the posts here just none that really classify my situation) Could someone guide me to a post that may help
also
Is there a post or a series of posts that my wife could read to help her, help me?

I do pretty good each day, But there are times when I get upset and sad and she gets frustrated very easily with that.

I do love this forum, I wish everyone happiness.

Kevin, Welcome to MB. Sorry for the circumstances that bring you to this wonderful sight. Have you read up on all the basic concepts? Read WAT's guide for betrayed spouses. Then get yourself a copy of Surviving An Affair or Torn Assunder. You may also want to get the book Not Just Friends. Was your WW's A an EA or PA too? Weekends are slow so be patient.
