So very very good to see you back, my good friend! Your wisdom has been sorely missed.

Melody, I hate to interject this here but I needed to ask you a question. I asked in another thread but I do not think that you saw it. I got caught last year putting a tap on the telephone. I had the type that plugged into the phone jack and then into the back of the telephone. I put the recorder under a 100 pound bedside cabinet. My WW still found it. I would still like to hear what is going on but I cannot take a chance on getting caught again.

What is the last technology and how does it work? I saw you telling someone in another thread about the radio shack brand. Any assistence in getting something that would not be obvious would be greatly appreciated.

Awwwwwwww! ML you have me :::: blushing ::::

Sad to say I've only been "missing" because this new forum found me "technologically challenged". Big ol' fraidy cat, am I.

Bigger props to you and the counless others that tirelessly give of yourselves to help others. I am but a speck of sand on a large beach. But thanks! It's good to be "back", although I've lurked with a vengence for months

bobsmiley, Radio Shack has about the same device you were caught with, a tape machine, but it has to be hard wired to your phone line. If you have a basement, and a "friend" with the know how, you can hide it better than in a bedroom. I hid mine in the clutter of the computer wiring, and it was never detected. However, some will make noise, and that's a dead giveaway. Make sure you test it and make sure it works in "stealth" mode.

Better yet, hire a PI and let him gather your "eggs"....

Best wishes,
SD

Bob - the recorders will work on ANY phone jack - when ANY phone on the same line is used.

Find an obscure jack in a spare bedroom, or behind the sofa. Or go to Radshack and get a phone jack and get in the attic and find the phone wires - blue and white and orange and white - connect the jack to the wires - leaving all the wires connected so the phones still work.
A handy friend would be handy, indeed!
