Hi Everyone,
This is my first post. I have been married for 3 years this past March. I am 45, my first marriage, my husband is 43,his second. We have not had a good marriage since the beginning and I keep hanging on. Some of the problems, he helps very little with finances, I have always worked. He takes no responsibility with anything. no sex, he has a problem with my weight. The latest, he was gone 3 months working, never sent me a dime to help, quit his job, came home and instead of coming home, stayed at a friends. His excuse, it was late, he didn't want to disturbe me. I got upset about it, he gets mad and said I ruined his homecoming.

I know my marriage is ending, how do I let go?

Help please
Kimberly

Get a counselor to help you process the grief you may be feeling. If you want to recover the marriage, read the Concepts section of this website and the Harley books. These also help in your recovery if the marriage can't be saved.

Understand that recovery is a process. There are great separated/divorced support groups which can help you and many resources in books. Some books even help you through the process like the "Fresh Start Divorce recovery workbook".
good luck,

It was a marriage that never really started.
