Hi everyone. well, in a continuation of my last post, "need opinions fast!" .... I decided not to say anything to him at all. After I dropped kids off at school and went tanning <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> (see my pink burned cheeks! LOL) I came home and he was still asleep on the couch. So I woke him up and asked him what his plans were for the next 4 days he is off. He said he didn't know. So I went about my business while he showered. I thought over and over what I could say to him. But then I decided that at this point and time nothing I could say, even if I am sincere and concerned, matters to him right now. He would need to hear the things I want to say from a friend of his or someone other than me. So when he got out of shower I said nothing. Just told him the plans I had for the kids b'days, about football sign up for our little guy, etc. Totally just making plans for the coming months that show I am moving ahead with my life. I think that bugs him more than if I confronted him and nailed him to the wall! Being nice and pretending I haven't a care in the world and that I have it all under control is very empowering. And I could tell it was bugging him. I am dying on the inside but I don't have to show him that. When I mope around and cry and and show weakness to him it gives him the power. I know this from past experience. So I feel better that I didn't say anything and am just going about my business. How is everyone doing today? I am so glad I found this board, I find it very helpful and a good place to vent where others understand. thank you! mlhb

Good for you! An in control empowered woman is attractive. A needy one isn't. If he comes around, great! If he won't, then at least you are a in control empowered woman ready to take on the world.
He will need to get used to this new woman!
