Grapegirl,

I hope you have found sleep as I write this. I find it amazing how little sleep I actually need these days; how I can keep going on virtually nothing and still function!

But yes, how I miss those cuddles. The kiss on the back of my neck before sleep. Spooning.

<sigh>

My bed seems to me an odd, superfluous piece of furniture now. I hardly sleep in it. No other more interesting activity takes place there. Might just throw the thing out, 'sleep' on the sofa and install a Playstation in the bedroom instead!

I can't sleep. While I was tossing and turning before coming down to the computer, this thread came to mind. I'm sure if I was to be *AHEM*ed, sleep would come a lot easier. Actually, sleep would be much easier if there was someone to wrap their arms around me and cuddle.

I've been alone since WH deployment and he ordered my handy vibe before he left (how ironic!) but i recommend

www.babeland.com
They have a variety of toys and they have a online customer support to recommend items.

LOL!!The wonders of the internet!! Can you imagine working in customer support "Where do the batteries go?" "Slow, medium, fast...is there really, really fast?" "How can you tell if its left handed or right handed?" "What is your return policy?"(eewww) "Is satisfaction gauranteed?" "Thanks I needed that!"

shouldi,
Just to clarify the "eeewww" was for perhaps getting merchandise that was previously used.

I am all for trying new things. SF has always been very strong between us. I think this is why WH A was EA w/some kissing.

It seems like a lot of us were unable to sleep last night. Tried the vibrator, just didn't do the whole job. In the winter, I have a warming blanket on my bed. It makes me feel surrounded and warm. We don't have air conditioning so I just feel bothered and warm at night now.

Maybe tonight will be better...

There are toys for men, too. (Other than blow-up dolls!)
They attempt to duplicate key aspects of the female anatomy. As you noted, however, they don't replace true intimacy.

Hmmmmmm. I had lost interest in sex before I found out about my WH's A(all due to physical pain, sexual aversion) which undoubtedly contributed to the A. Now I am interested, but WH is not(& most likely a good thing as WH is very much in WD). I just want to be able to show him how much I love him. Again, probably best that he's not interested as it will most likely hurt me anyway.

One day though..........
