Will wonders never cease!
Saturday's are always better because A) I see my H [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] and B) I don't see the OM [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] But for some reason today feels better than most. My H (3wishes) and I talked about making up a contract where we would agree to talk nothing about the past - nothing about his indescretions (sp?) or mine, nothing about anything that's happened before TODAY. We also talked about me writing a letter to the OM (thanks Holly for reminding me about that) because I never did that, and since the affair did not run a natural course there have always been some unresolved issues that filter in when the OM and I do have to see each other. My H and I agreed about both of these things [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] (THAT rarely happens, so I take it as a good sign!) and we also talked about going somewhere tonight, just the two of us and NOT TALKING ABOUT ANYTHING NEGATIVE.
I'm feeling more positive than I have in weeks, and I have to say that it feels good. Maybe, just maybe we can actually make love or something WAY OUT THERE like that this weekend [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
~Sheryl
------------------
Marriage: the most important contract you'll ever enter into, and the most sacred.
This must be a weekend of new beginnings. I am so happy for you! My H and I are having a great weekend too. Here's some advice, it works for me. When you feel like you are about to say something negative, make yourself smile at him. I know it sounds crazy, but it works. It is impossible to be angry with someone when you are smiling at them. You guys deserve a nice weekend. Do something with just the two of you. Go to a nice quiet restaurant, go to movies, date each other! My H and I just bought a new motorcycle and we are going riding later, just like old times! Let me know how things go this weekend.

Nb just answered your other post, didn't see this one. I'm glad you're feeling more positive and you're following my suggestions. I just repeated them again on the other post.
Yes writing a letter to the om might give you a different feeling, maybe your H would like to help you with it? - or maybe not, it might be painfull.A decision for both of you.
Enjoy this times and believe that they can be more and more part of your lives as things progress.
Kat
------------------
Each and everyone of us is deserving of a kind word, a gentle thought, and the gift of understanding.

new_beginning--
I'm glad I could inspire you to write a closure letter to the OM and I'm glad you and your H are going to try and put the past behind you. My H did that a long time ago and NEVER talks about the affair...I think that has helped us to move on and doesn't always remind me of what I did.
My H and I did get in a HUGE fight on Saturday...it was our first big fight for a while. I could almost feel my love bank diminishing...I was actually thinking that while we were fighting. (I think I'm getting a little to into this love bank thing.) We've been trying not to love bust...but I guess sometimes you just slip up. For a moment, I almost wished I didn't send the OM that letter. But, then I realized that one fight isn't going to make me want to run back to the OM to momentarily (sp?) make me feel better.
