It's only beem 4 days since H moved out. I can't stop thinking about him w/other W and having fun and moving forward with his life. I feel trapped, i know I will be better off without him, but can't seem to function, I can go some w/out thinking about him, but then i think and start getting depressed thinking i'm going to be alone for ever. What if all the bad things he said about me is true and no one will love me? I always thought of myself as a good wife, but why did he fall out of love w/me and fall into love w/someone else(quickly)? I feel my world is crashing down on my head and i can't stop it! Will this get easier, wanting for him to call, stop by, is he thinking about me like i'm thinking of him? Why couldn't I make my H happy? Doesn't love to death to us part count for anything? Better or worse? Everything we worked so hard to get is going to gone, I know things are repalcable, but to start over again at my age (34), I was really hoping my marriage for life, but guess nothing last forever! Any inout would be nice about this getting easier and what do you do when you seem them together, say "hi" hope everything going good? or do you just look away and act like you didn't see them? Oh Please help!!!!!

Dakota...yes it is hard and it will get harder before it gets easier. It has taken me over 8 months to stop rehashing everything I have done over 15 years of marriage to finally realize it wasn't me at all. Yes I did some things to contribute to a less than perfect marriage. But NO ONE has a perfect marriage and HE chose to go elsewhere.

My therapist said that everytime I ask myself "What is wrong with me" I need to stop and rephrase. "What is wrong with WH?" Start realizing your worth as a person, start realizing the loss that he will have to endure due to poor choices.

It is going to take you a while before you start feeling good about yourself, but it will take a lot longer if you hold that mirror in front of your face and never turn it around on him. My advice is the sooner you move on the quicker you will heal and yes you will find someone who will love you like you deserve too. You've spent too long already trying to figure out what it is about you that your WH doesn't love. One man's trash is another man's treasure.
Believe it and let go.

Hello! I'm sorry you are here.

It's not about you. It's him. It takes a while to realize that though. No one can make another happy, only you can make you happy. That one took me a while, too.

Get yourself out of the house. Get a counseler if you need to. Pamper yourself, go to the gym, to the movies, window shop, a hike. You might not feel like it at first, but really make yourself do it. And check out what this site has to offer.
