T&L,

Yes, well, I said you were great...

... before I read your lifestory thread.

Wish I'd seen your post before I submitted another addition to "my" thread! It was on pg. 3 and headed for obscurity, and now I've gone and boosted it back to pg. 1 again. Blast it all anyway. Shoulda stuck with the facade.

I haven't read the rest of the story. Last I heard, your baby daughter was on a plane with your H and you were hoping (and praying!) that it would crash. I figure it got better (since you have grandchildren now

The baby involved was Neak, so obviously she survived. HP is almost 60, so he survived as well, thanks to praying parents (mine), angelic intervention, the goodness of God.

God bless you in your difficult circumstances.

T&L,

I knew it was (and still is) Neak.

Honestly, I know it's extremely tiring to hve to tell one's life story. A few tiems I have started on that with somebody - and mine is extremely boring - so after a few minutes I get bored telling it.

Your life, on the other hand, is interesting.

You're a cool lady.

You give us hope by showing how people can change.

I think it's like this. When you were very young, you were a "good" girl because you had to be. Then, you fell down. But when you got up, you were "good" because you wanted to be. Most likely you won't fall again.

Six Word Update Y'all Can Read:

I dropped by W's place tonight.
She gave me something to eat.
She complained of lower back pain.
I used to massage her back.
I think she misses that perk.

A limerick, yeah!

5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables, that's haiku.

There was a BS named AD.
Who, missed his own wife, yessiree.
So he said "Stop the D",
But no answer gave she.
So forward it went, one two three.

That's a good one!

I wrote a synopsis of "Titanic", that got posted on a limerick website, it was apparently that "good."

A broken clock ticks.
One dies, none is lonely.
While crickets still sing.

Like I said, I had a boring life.

At least I won GC's least naughty limrick award!

2Long,

You got Titanic exactly!

I always wondered why people thought it was an interesting movie.

That and "out of africa".

I've heard it said that the nude scene was thrown in there 2 keep the guys' attention until people started dying in large numbers!

I think the movie sinking was longer than the ac2al event. The movie definitely was!

I'm a Titanic "freak" of sorts. Fascinated with the his2ry of the event, even before Cameron came along...

...kind of a Kate Winslet nutball, 2...

Cameron who? Kate Winslet? Don't know 'er.

I'm almost completely uncultured - if recent culture is considered.

You need 2 get out more. Cameron's on our "team" for the next one... (you'll know, or if you don't, email me and I'll clarify).

Kate Winslet is a great actress, for a young kid... She was in "Eternal sunshine of the Spotless Mind" with Jim Carey. I was impressed with both of them...

UPdate:

The last couple of nights I've had phone calls from my wife - the usual "say good night to Dad" calls, but she gets back on and talks awhile afterwards. One night (was it last night?) she talked for almost an hour.

I think D is more certain than ever. She's so self-centered. She want's her 7 years back. What? I'm a bad guy, it seems, because I took 7 years of her life. But what about the 7 years of my life. They, apparently, don't matter. 7 years (almost) of being married to an unfaithful, abusive wife is no picnic.

In other news....

Guess what I have in my bedroom?

AD, I give up.

Abusive is right. Your W should be put over someone's knee for the things she says to you.
