Me and my wife separated June 11. At 33, this is the most painful experience I have ever gone through in my life. I have tried to reconnect spiritually and have started going to church, reading the bible in the morning and at night.
I am taking medication but still cry a lot during the day. I pray everyday that I will have communication with my wife and that some miracle will bring us closer together. I am thankful that I have found these forums and the people who have offered their advice.
I just wanted to post a prayer request as I feel weak, tired, lost, and weary. I promised God that if we are brought back together I will do my all to get my wife back into church as well. Please pray for us and our marital situation.
I don’t want to get a divorce and I need strength and prayers to get through this troubled time.
Thank you so much!

timn420,
Welcome to the Prayer Forum. Just wanted to let you know you, your W and your M will be lifted up here. More people lurk to see what people need prayers for than post, but you can be sure that others are doing the same for you.
Keep doing what you are doing. Make your relationship with God more intimate and allow God to work in your W's life too. Keep posting here and if you can, get "Power of a Praying Husband". It was very useful for me.
Bless you.

Just an update.
Unfortunately we are going ahead with a divorce and have filed. My wife is still having an affair. Of course I am still dealing with the shattered dreams that is the result of this. It is getting better though. I can actually work during the day without panic attacks and am sleeping better.
In some ways my divorce has been a positive experience. I feel closer to God more then any other time in my life. I attend church and read the bible on a regular basis. I have also become more social and am cultivating new friendships. I'm seeing a christian MC which has allowed me to voice my grievances.
I do feel that God is with me in this and that I will love again someday. I pray for those who posts in this forum and others going through similar traumatic experiences in their lives.

I am so sorry to hear about your divorce. I can imagine how hard it is. My husband has cheated on me many time and I stayed with him to try to work it out. But, he never stopped. Right now we are seperated due to domestic violence. I will be praying for you. Mabye she will come to her senses and stop the divorce. God bless you.

I will keep you in my daily prayers. I am now praying for all of us on this forum and others as we are all walking thru the fires of H---. But I am confident that God will bring us out on the other side. Sometimes I can even truly feel Him with me. You will be alright. Just keep your eyes on the Lord.
Blessings, Tarehurts
