Folks, just wanted to start a thread wherein we share what the best books we've read since our marital problems / divorces.

For me:

1. God's Word - especially Psalms & Proverbs & 1 Cor 13
2. Dr. Harley's materials are second to none.
3. Crazy Times: Surviving Divorce & Building a New Life
4. The 5 Love Needs of Men & Women by Dr. Gary Rosberg
5. A rare book called "The Adventist Home" - very grounding & helpful to get my feet back on the ground.

Regards,
High Flight

The book that has helped me the most is Rebuilding
When Your Relationship Ends by Bruce Fisher.
I have read it several parts, and some parts over and over. The parts about rebound relationships, and how we need certain different kinds of relationships after divorce really gave me more of an understanding of these things.

Anybody know of any good DATING books....???

Dr clouds writes extensively about dating, and healthy relationship growth... This is one of his books and if applied properly, will lead to success.

"In the Meantime - Finding the love you seek" by Iyanla Vanzant

This book was TREMENDOUSLY VALUABLE as I started dating again and, perhaps, kept me from choosing to live in the basement again.

Well, there's a whole list that I read when the marriage problems (A) started. I'll try to stick to the "moving forward" list. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> All the Harley material, including Buyers, Renters, and Freeloaders. I know there's more, so I'll have to think and come back, but Mars & Venus: Starting Over was very helpful for me. I started Boundaries in Dating but didn't get very far.

bumping up for more book input.

RebornMan? I'm interested in your list... especially that stuff your were referring to in Karona's thread.
