Here is my story in a nutshell - WH had a profile on AdultFriendFinders.com for 3 months and also carried on an extensive email correspondence with someone he "met" there. He said he had no physical contact ever with anyone, I believe him. We are in MC. He is sincerely remorseful and working hard at recovery.

So, here's the problem. SF is his very highest EN and lack of frequency on my part led to his feeling of estrangement from me. As part of recovery, I am working hard to meet his SF need. However, we now have the problem where he cannot sustain his er****** and cannot O******. Is it the guilt? Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes. it's common, though few talk about it.

You are right in your guess. It's the shame and the guilt.

The good news is it usually resolves in most cases.

Are you in MC? Talking it through will help him trmendously.

'Lightening up', not 'trying' so hard will also help.

Be patient. Prayers and blessing to you and your family.
