After work today I decided to venture into the back of the garage to see exactly what all Mr. Big took with him that he had left after his move out last summer.

Well he took everything of value, that is for sure and left everything of no value, or even worse negative value since I would have to pay to have it dumped.

Old engines, mufflers, carborators, batteries, lots of beer bottles with spit in them...you know garbage.

So I decided in a few weeks when I know the big guy won't be at my old island property I will take haul it all over there for him.

Aren't I nice?

This is my note I will leave.

Dan,

While cleaning out the garage I noticed that you left quite a bit of "stuff" out there.

Since I am sure that you must want it, I decided to make it convenient for you and drop it off.

Ciao,
Weaver.

Weaver,

It seems like an awful lot of work. What's in it for you?

Well, I'll get it out of my garage, and I won't have to pay at the dump.

And, he'll know that I am not sitting here all love sick over him.

I must be in the anger grief stage because the thought of him thinking I am pining away for him makes me ill.

Okay.

Because it's too mean? Makes me look bitter?

Take the high road?

Is that what you mean Pep?

It won't heal your wound. It may even dig at the wound actually.

Yeah, I think I am just having one of those days.

Thanks, I'm sure you are right.

...and heal I am going to this time.

Vengeance is the Lords. I need to remember that when there are days like these.

Weaver,

I suspect it will be painful for you to visit the island property, and moving the junk won't send a guy any message at all really. If you want to send a message, you can probably think of a way to send a clearer one. But if you don't care about that, a clean garage is a very nice thing to have.

AD, you are right. It will only be painful for me to go over there. I need to just take the stuff to the dump and continue on with my life as planned.

Paige doesn't hate him you know, and he didn't even say goodbye to her. She adored him.

I asked her the other day how she felt about him, after the trip and property and all. She knows a lot of what happened with the way he ended it on the machine.

She said "well I still like him Mom, and I can't get in the middle of it" LOL

He is the only man that I ever brought around her. She never met any other date of mine, and she really did adore him and thought of him as her stepdad.

Oh well she has a good dad, so she will not have problems in the men dept because of him.

I am eternally thankful for the dad she has. She is with him for the next four months btw, and he will treat her like gold.

Thanks AD.

Weaver - it must be very hard for you at times handing your daughter over, even though you know she's being loved and well cared for. I hope you don't get too lonely whilst she's away. How far is she and how often do you see her when she's with her dad?

Well, I put all of my STBX's stuff out by the curb for the garbage men. I also then took his clothes and let my cat lay all over them and then put them in a bag and sat them out front and told him to come pick them up. Ok...I know...maybe that was a bit mean but I have to tell ya...It felt good!!!!! Anyway....I got rid of most of his stuff. I did notice that he left most of his trophies from high school and pro ball photos in the garage. I will take those things to his mom's house. I can't bring myself to get rid of that stuff. Some of the stuff I will put away and give to my son one day.
I say do whatever works for you weaver.

TT,

Yes it is very hard. It will help me this time that I have some projects to work on. I will also pick her up for a few hours during the week and go do something. We talk on the phone a lot, and I cherish every other weekend when I do have her.

Working full time helps too.

I have news on the ex I'll post here shortly.

Tree,

I would love to do it, I just don't want to do anything to bring myself more pain. I have had about all that I can take, and the days when it doesn't hurt are coming more frequently now.

I've been reading your threads but I can't offer anything positive so don't respond mostly. Trying not to name call anymore. And it's HARD with your STBXWH!

Well I just got back from my girlfriends place and it seems as if Dan is in town and he is keeping company with the town HO. Driving her vehicle even.

And I am very serious about this person. Last year she broke up a friends marriage (bar owner and wife), ran around with him for awhile until he dumped her. She is trash. Bar fly 48 yr old trash.

It's almost laughable to me. It just makes me see that he broke up with me so he could live his bar trash life.

Hope they will be very happy together. I could never live like this woman does. If that's what he wants then it's good he let me go.

I'm totally grossed out but not surprised. Should have known there was a woman involved somewhere for him to do what he did.

True. And you knew too heh Faith? After being on this board for so long, of course I knew.

So in honor of this newest learning of fact -

Leonard Cohen - Closing Time Lyrics

Ah we're drinking and we're dancing
and the band is really happening
and the Johnny Walker wisdom running high
And my very sweet companion
she's the Angel of Compassion
she's rubbing half the world against her thigh
And every drinker every dancer
lifts a happy face to thank her
the fiddler fiddles something so sublime
all the women tear their blouses off
and the men they dance on the polka-dots
and it's partner found, it's partner lost
and it's hell to pay when the fiddler stops:
it's CLOSING TIME

Yeah the women tear their blouses off
and the men they dance on the polka-dots
and it's partner found, it's partner lost
and it's hell to pay when the fiddler stops:
it's CLOSING TIME

Ah we're lonely, we're romantic
and the cider's laced with acid
and the Holy Spirit's crying, "Where's the beef?"
And the moon is swimming naked
and the summer night is fragrant
with a mighty expectation of relief
So we struggle and we stagger
down the snakes and up the ladder
to the tower where the blessed hours chime
and I swear it happened just like this:
a sigh, a cry, a hungry kiss
the Gates of Love they budged an inch
I can't say much has happened since
but CLOSING TIME

I swear it happened just like this:
a sigh, a cry, a hungry kiss
the Gates of Love they budged an inch
I can't say much has happened since
CLOSING TIME

I loved you for your beauty
but that doesn't make a fool of me:
you were in it for your beauty too
and I loved you for your body
there's a voice that sounds like God to me
declaring, declaring, declaring that your body's really you
And I loved you when our love was blessed
and I love you now there's nothing left
but sorrow and a sense of overtime
and I missed you since the place got wrecked
And I just don't care what happens next
looks like freedom but it feels like death
it's something in between, I guess
it's CLOSING TIME

Yeah I missed you since the place got wrecked
By the winds of change and the weeds of sex
looks like freedom but it feels like death
it's something in between, I guess
it's CLOSING TIME

Yeah we're drinking and we're dancing
but there's nothing really happening
and the place is dead as Heaven on a Saturday night
And my very close companion
gets me fumbling gets me laughing
she's a hundred but she's wearing
something tight
and I lift my glass to the Awful Truth
which you can't reveal to the Ears of Youth
except to say it isn't worth a dime
And the whole damn place goes crazy twice
and it's once for the devil and once for Christ
but the Boss don't like these dizzy heights
we're busted in the blinding lights,
busted in the blinding lights
of CLOSING TIME

The whole damn place goes crazy twice
and it's once for the devil and once for Christ
but the Boss don't like these dizzy heights
we're busted in the blinding lights,
busted in the blinding lights
of CLOSING TIME

Oh the women tear their blouses off
and the men they dance on the polka-dots
It's CLOSING TIME
And it's partner found, it's partner lost
and it's hell to pay when the fiddler stops
It's CLOSING TIME
I swear it happened just like this:
a sigh, a cry, a hungry kiss
It's CLOSING TIME
The Gates of Love they budged an inch
I can't say much has happened since
But CLOSING TIME
I loved you when our love was blessed
I love you now there's nothing left
But CLOSING TIME
I miss you since the place got wrecked
By the winds of change and the weeds of sex.

Hey weaver-girl {{{hugs}}}

I've got no advice but you already know that Phil left everything here but his golf clubs!!! A cover of American Girl (Goo Goo Dolls) is running through my head so I thought I'd share...

Well, she was an American girl,
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinking there was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
And if she's gonna die
Tryin', she
Had one little promise she was gonna keep

Chorus:
Oh yeah, alright,
Take it easy, baby
Make it last all night (make it last all night)
She was an American girl.

Well, it was kind of cold that night,
She stood alone on the balcony
Yeah, she could hear the cars roll by,
Out on four forty one like
Waves crashing on the beach,
For one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God, it's so painful when something that's so close
Can feel so far out of reach

Hey Sal!

Well I read your thread too, and I got nothing for you either. LOL

I'll just be glad when are all to a place of peace, happiness and content again.

That's quite the sad tune you posted. Did she jump?

If I ever do go get in touch with Dan again, for closure, it will not be before the six months I agreed to with SH is up.

If he contacts me again, and now I am not so sure he will, then I will post here and also run by my friends as also discussed with SH.

Because when I talked to SH, I very much still wanted to get back together but only if he was ready to live a life of integrity. Steve said that would only happen when HE wanted to change because the pain of the life he has been leading is too much.

Completely out of my control. It sure is hard to let go though.
